This game is one of the few 10/10 master pieces that I have ever played. Beautiful Landscape, a wide variety of enemies and different unique weapons to kill with in a verity of different ways. The story is interesting, but ending was lacking in spectacle, as if the final boss felt like a regular large enemy. The achievements were not bad at all if you are looking to 100% the game like I have, 95% can be acquired by running around the map and doing the storyline.
I really enjoyed HZD. The world was beautiful, exploring was fun, and slowly discovering what happened to the old world and how everything became the way it is was probably my favorite part of the story. I liked Aloy a lot too, although I never became very attached to most characters. I think I just prefer games where you spend more time talking to people or have companions traveling with you. I felt a little lonely sometimes until the DLC. The dlc had me fuming though fighting the machines. Skill issue on my part lol. Don’t even get me started on the trials. But the ending genuinely got me. Was a great story. Overall, I’m really glad I played it and will play the next game soon.

horizon zero dawn is genuinely such an amazing game. i knew i was going to enjoy it, but i didn’t realise just how invested i’d end up getting. the more i played, the more i just wanted to keep going and i genuinely couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. i honestly wish i could experience the story for the first time all over again :’) the world is absolutely gorgeous to explore, the graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack is incredible. i also absolutely loved the combat. taking down machines never stopped being satisfying and the harder difficulties definitely kept me on my toes…i definitely got humbled more than a few times T_T aloy is genuinely such an amazing character and i absolutely loved following her throughout the story. even tho i know the story pretty much by heart now, there are still certain moments that make me emotional every single time. i did run into a few lil bugs here and there, but honestly they never took away from how much i enjoyed the game. overall i genuinely couldn’t recommend this game enough. if you somehow still haven’t played horizon zero dawn then pls do yourself a favour and give it a chance. 9/10<3
Overall Rating: Recommended An absolute masterpiece of a PC port I had a fantastic time diving into this world. The world design is stunning and incredibly fun to explore, and the combat kept me hooked the entire time. But honestly we need to talk about the Decima Engine man what an absolute beast! The level of detail they managed to cram into this game while keeping it perfectly optimized is mind blowing. I played this on a GTX 1650, and it ran incredibly well. If you are worried about performance on budget hardware, don't be. Great world, fun combat, and legendary optimization. Easily worth your time
