i love the game but i will say i was hoping the cave behind the cabin in the wood house should have been removed in the remaster. its very wrong to just clean off stuff like cave paintings and indigenous stuff.

If you can get this with the loyalty price of £13, then I cautiously recommend this game. I finally found out how to set my graphics to look nice both inside and outside, and they do look very nice indeed now. that's a positive, but there any many other bugs that do need fixing. At the moment the game runs well, but i really do need to play more with larger builds to know if it stays that way. Right now, text and all ui is too small for me to see easily when gaming on sofa on TV. Disappointed that this wasn't fixed already as I pointed this out when I reviewed the demo. Accessibility options like text size settings should be basic requirements in games, all games. Also still no option to press button instead of holding it down. Again, an vital and basic requirement. Do not understand why positions of tools have been moved on tool wheel. It simply makes things more complex and more fiddly. Simple controls are best, they did not need to be changed from original game. Voice acting, no interest, would have prefered changes that enhance ability to be creative, half walls, ability to recolour patterns, and ability to fully demolish all houses. I hope this gets the fixes and improvements it needs, and lots of new content, preferably plenty of empty lots to build on.

The game itself cost me only 15 bucks due to me owning all the dlc for the house flipper original game. I have a total of 189 hours in house flipper 1, completed all its achievements and had a ton of fun with it. But is this remaster as good as the original? Let’s find out. Things the remaster does well: -New furniture options -New jobs -Voice acted all the jobs -Added quality of life scanners so you can duplicate, change colour of items already placed, and select bigger trash workfields (as in, select more trash at once) -New properties to buy and restore -A new mode that allows you to pick between ‘’classic’’ (old house flipper basically) and ‘’sandbox’’ or creative, which allows you to start out with a bit more cash, all tools unlocked from the start so you can fully focus on flipping houses right away. -Regular patches so far to fix reported issues, as well as listening to the discord’s feedback. Things that could be better. One issue I reported was the lighting working wonky and needing like five lights to light one room but I suspect itll be fixed soon. Verdict: House flipper remaster is a charming reworked game with new content, new jobs, and new properties. The voice acting and the new world mode map makes the game even more charming and personal. I would recommend it, especially if you already own some house flipper 1 dlc and can chip down a bit of the price!

Edit: People complaining about graphics or performance issues play on a potato PC or didn't touch their settings. This game runs infinitely better than House Flipper and has way more refined graphics. 1. Positives: + Discount bundle for users who bought House Flipper and DLCs before + Significantly increased and beautiful graphics. + There's also an ability to pick up more trash at once which is useful. + Item modifier and duplication are nice features + Top down mode can be useful + New build more items + FPS increase compared to House Flipper + Less motion sickness + Free mode 2. Things that were mentioned to be improved but in my experience didn't change much: - The UI and interface - Tool wheel - House building tools 3. Overall, It feels like a remake of the original game with additions. There are much more positive aspects than negative. Would recommend as an upgrade for users that enjoyed the original House Flipper.
