Completely insane to watch someone else play, and even more insane to play yourself. It's difficult, but has some really interesting features that make this arcade-style shooter very fun.

the type of game your uncle Dylan found inside in an old box in the attic that he didn't remember having and shortly after putting it in his pc for the first time and playing it he disappeared without a trace and to this day 30 years later no one has been able to find him or his remains but unbeknownst to you and your family he has been inside the game trying to get #1 on the leaderboard over all the other trapped souls so he can return to the real world

i cant stop seeing red outlines of whatever is behind me. doctors prescribed me 600g of LSD, was not as trippy as this game. Pretty sure I saw a lot of birds and biblically accurate angle, yeah id say buy it

Flow state : The videogame. Few games can engross me so thoroughly that I completely lose track of time. This is one of them. It's hard as balls, incredibly fast, and makes you feel like a god when things are going your way. There is no time to think. There is no stopping. There is 0 fluff, 0 dialogue, no hand holding past the optional tutorial. There's a gigantic skill cap, precise controls, multiple ways to deal with each type of enemy depending on how skillful or cheeky you are feeling, and a rewarding gameplay loop that fills your brain with happy chemicals when you improve your previous score and get to see your name shoot past all the other players whose score you just beat. Good shit.

HYPER DEMON is the only perfect game I have ever played. If the developer asked me for one piece of feedback- an addition, removal, or otherwise- I would have nothing to say. There is nothing about this game I do not like, and there is nothing I think would make it better. It reminds me of Tetris in that every mechanic has great impact on the rest of the game, so there's no real definition of a "correct" move. In other words, every decision you make in a run will occlude other possible decisions. TL;DR: good
