Well, too bad—because I Am Bread exists, and it will challenge everything you thought you knew about both gaming and gluten. You play as a humble slice of bread with a dream: to become toast. Sounds simple, right? WRONG. Your greatest enemies are gravity, dirt, and an absolutely savage physics engine that turns every movement into a battle against the laws of nature. Navigating a kitchen has never been so difficult—or hilarious. One wrong move, and you’ll find yourself face-down on the floor, instantly coated in grime like some tragic three-second rule casualty. The controls? Imagine trying to operate a marionette with spaghetti noodles for fingers. The frustration? Astronomical. But the satisfaction of finally making it to the toaster? Pure euphoria. In summary, I Am Bread is ridiculous, infuriating, and absolutely brilliant. If you've ever wanted to experience the emotional journey of a bread slice fighting for its crispy destiny, this is the game for you. 🥖 Well, it's not as fun as «Surgeon Simulator» or even «Goat», but the idea is definitely crazy, backed by a fairly simple story. Obviously, it's a bit of a "rage game", because physics don't play a big role in funny sims, but it's important here and at the same time can be bad. However, being a YT's title, ordinary players haven't really even tried to complete it (if you check the achievements). In fact, ~70% of them can be easily unlocked in under 5h, without any guides, but if most didn't even bother to complete the short seven-level campaign, it's not surprising that the game is relatively forgotten. So long, toast, only crazy people will do your time trials for platinum, and for the rest — the game was just okay.

Bought this in 2015 because of Markiplier. Played a few times and put it away. Then came back on my steam deck while waiting for my car to get worked on and didn't realize how much more features they added to the game! I'm laughing my ass off most of the time playing zero G mode and bagel race too! Definitely recommend it and check out all the bread puns it comes with too. Lots of Dad joke bread puns as I came back to it
