This game is good and has only gotten better, it is unique and has started to shape up nicely. If the developers add more maps and more unique situations this could continue to entertain for years to come. Maybe even whole new countries like South Africa jungles or other 3rd world areas where war is taking place and you have to maintain control.

I wish steam had a mixed review. AS this game is good, but it also has a lot of issues. I'd like to see the development continue further, and bugs and overall quality of life be improved. Like the navigation AI... Its horrible. Gets stuck all the time, constant looping, and overall jank. Or the fact the camera can't be zoomed out very far, makes it very hard to find units. Overall, lots of potential here, and very engaging game. I had a lot of fun. Its just the jank thats really holding this title back. If you ARE going to pickup this game, MAKE SURE TO SWITCH TO THE PUBLIC BETA CHANNEL. IT HAS THE LATEST UPDATED GAME. WHICH GREATLY IMPROVES THE EXPERIENCE. if you don't well. Its going to not be a good experience.

CANCEL ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS - THE DEV IS BACK! This is probably one of the most interesting concepts for an RTS game that I've ever seen. Very few games specialize in the counter-insurgency gameplay like this game does. The only suggestions that I have are to add more maps, more units, and increase the challenge! Allow the enemy AI to call in tanks or something if you don't do community outreach missions, OR if you attack them too often! Loving the game a ton, keep going at it!

This is a VERY EARLY BUILD, so I am not really going to complain about much. I am loving how involved you have to be to actually accomplish tasks. You can't just leave everything on autopilot, nothing will get done. You need to micro manage your units and keep them on task, for the most part. If you give them a task they will perform it without you until you tell them to do something else or until they make contact with the enemy. Then they will follow whatever rules of engagement you have set and that will interrupt their previous task. I really enjoy needing to use actual interpreters to be able to speak to the locals and talk with people in their homes for intel. I would like for the basic infantry riflemen to have the ability to construct prepared fighting positions by digging foxholes or sandbags for a little extra protection out in the field. Also I noticed when you construct walls, vehicles will still drive through them. I am guessing there is supposed to be collision on the walls but because it's such an early version of the game it's just one of those things. I hope it's fixed though because i would like to deny access to certain areas for civilian and hostile vehicles and control the flow of traffic at checkpoints better. Right now if the traffic gets too clustered at a checkpoint they start freaking out and going off road to go around, some weird path finding issues maybe. Same with the infantry, sometimes they get stuck on the edge of roads when they are trying to cross. You can kind of kite them around the problem spot but with the game itself being micro-manage heavy, it can be frustrating having to stop and help units out that are stuck on the terrain. Again, I am not upset by any of the issues i'm discussing, its an early build, I just love this game and want it to be the best it can be. If you have the patience to deal with early build jank, and are looking for a game that lets you simulate commanding military operations in a hostile region while attempting to win the hearts and minds of the locals you should absolutely give this a shot. The UI can be disorienting at first, not sure if its the color scheme or just the layout but it was...awkward for me trying to navigate it and understand the information being given to me at first. I am getting used to it now though. Like I said though, If you can handle early build jank and want a military sim you can get lost in, then I think you might enjoy what is here now. It kind of reminds me of Afghanistan '11 or Vietnam '65 at least as far as the overall objectives you are given to accomplish.
