Cool strategy game with many unique levels and challenges. There are some special powers, but you absolutely can beat the game without them. The music and atmosphere is great, and tech tree is well thought out. Achievements give some rewards, including tech points, incentivising to play well and do a bit of extra, but they aren't required either, even on Veteran difficulty. Controls are not ideal, e.g. sometimes units don't follow the command to attack someone, and there's no attack move, but overall still pretty decent. I'd recommend playing this game.

Iron Marines is a RTS game originally designed for smartphones in 2017, but still perfectly enjoyable on PC in 2025. Its comic-style visuals are full of personality, with colorful alien environments, charming units, and a fast-paced rhythm that fits the format well. The campaign features over 20 well-crafted missions with diverse objectives and special challenges. Real-time unit switching, customizable heroes, and adaptable strategies offer enough tactical depth without becoming overwhelming. I played Iron Marines on PC and found the experience smooth, fun, and polished. It’s perfect for players looking for accessible strategy with strong replay value. Rather than aiming for hardcore complexity, it focuses on fast, visually appealing gameplay with the light humor Ironhide is known for. At a fair price and with thoughtful design, it remains an easy recommendation for anyone wanting an enjoyable, low-pressure RTS experience.

Very good game, would buy again. Its isometric pseudo 3d but very well designed and animated, pretty engaging... Some small issues with controls, which can be solved in 30 seconds by remapping. I dont like shake cam which cannot be turned off and voice acting for the main heros which is too repetitive and a bit too hyperbolically emotional (or is it emotionally hyperbolical?) Other than that this is seriously good venture. I recommend to give it a try.

Amazing little game. Marines do: "Go, go, go!!" Ghost squads, I meant Sniper squads are also present. 😉 Acknowledged H.Q., Nav-comm locked.

Ironhides games are always fun, Plain simple fun to pass the time, i love all their games so far. Felt like playing a 2D starcraft and thats a huge compliment!
