KALPA is a PC port from it's original Mobile game which I've been playing for years, so far so good, charting is amazing, music is roughly the same as mobile (Not complaining, I love those tracks) Difficulties can various from beginner all the way to expert, people who enjoy rhythm game please do give it a try. Things that can be improved on. - Better UI. - Add themes to Gear/Note. - More free music? (Or DLC Packs like the mobile game) - Level system and RR system. (If there's multi-player in Sept, I can see these 2 features very useful to show your activeness and rating) Please don't give up on such good published game like other rhythm games, these type of high grade rhythm game is what keep us believing good games still exist! <3

I enjoy the charting a bit more than djmax and other games for both modes it feels fresh however the game needs to add more songs(song packs unlockables) asap before people lose the interest but its really fun!.

Game has various difficulty , two modes 4 & 5 Keys. Game runs fluidly and story mode has a pretty interesting plot. Also, the leaderboard scores works well, easy to track you progress using the traces menu.

I started KALPA around launch. KALPA was a mobile 5K rg that is free to download with DLC. More monetisation was added over time (battle pass, member subscription, gacha), so it's refreshing that there is now a PC version where (so far) a single purchase accesses all the songs. The song library is currently around 30 or so songs from the mobile game. Sound quality is extremely good. The UI is quite polished, more than the demo. The PC version offers both 4K and 5K. The UI can be either downscroll or diagonal. There are many settings to customize play. Do note that if you're coming from mobile, touch control vs separated screen and keyboard is a very different experience. Charting is alright, maybe too difficult (keyboard PC VSRG is my weakest area in the genre), but unavoidable with VSRG is that the harder difficulties will end up being note swarm. I was hopeful of more story since they haven't added more chapters to mobile since the first anniversary (2022), but... this ain't it. Kalpa's role is now in the hands of a self-insert and the dialogue is very over the top and campy. Not really my thing. There's only two full introductory chapters so it's still early. It's a promising start. I look forward to more updates.
