If you want to read a bog standard moege that isn't very long and is very cheap you should definitely try Kamiyaba To sum it up: - This game has essentially no story (like none at all), boiling down to just fluff and romance that aren't very long (4 main routes and 2 side routes that should take you ~30 hours to read). So don't let that "destiny count" gimmick make you think there'd be some kind of substantial plot or game mechanic tied to it - The heroines are nothing too special. Very standard like what you'd expect from a moege - Good art, though you can definitely feel the budget constraints when Hulotte cooked up this game - Also, there are ways that should fix up some shiravune localization issues. Try checking out vndb

It's your typical moege, guy wants to get girlfriend, guy gets girlfriend out of a small list of people conveniently located in the same general area. It's fun, it's sweet, it has a fairly decent sense of humor. It's not exactly complicated or groundbreaking, but it is fun, albeit cliche. If that's enough for you, then I say get it, if you were hoping for this to be the next Clannad or Little Busters, you are going to be disappointed.

I'm going to separate this review a bit, both by route as well as try to separate the terrible English localization and the VN itself. I picked this VN up because of the premise of a "Destiny Count" thing that I found pretty interesting at a glance. I do wish that had been played with more, especially if it was utilized in a manner such as "This character has a destiny count of 100 you have to get to 0" and each different choice brought it down by x or y. Meaning on a first date choose "grab their hand" would drop it from 100 to 95, but if you chose "hug them quickly" it'd raise from 100 to 105 as they freaked out at you for "skipping steps" or something. And if you failed to get it to 0 by x date it'd send you to a bad end. If you got it to 0 "too quickly" you'd just skip the "extra scenes". But I know that if the VN were to do that, it'd end up needing to be a significantly larger / more expensive visual novel, but it'd be a really fun premise. Localization: It's pretty bad. To me this VN reads like someone was doing the translation while playing the JP release and translating out loud to some dictation software and not bothering to check what Siri / Alexa / Cortana thought they were saying. It's pretty bad, but at the same point not quite as bad as MTL. Routes in the order in which I played them: Common: Funny, no real issues, but nothing outstanding either. Yukari: Cute, this is one that will definitely fall into the YMMV category based on how you feel about her character type in general. I personally enjoy the sarcastic / teasing characters a lot, so I really enjoyed this route. Mao: Sub-heroine, short route, super deredere. No complaints, but nothing special. Hanayo: Similar to Yukari in character-type but more serious I guess? Also a sub-heroine so it was a very short route, but enjoyable Urara: In my opinion the best route by a decent margin. But it leaves some questions I do wish it outright answered what happened "after" everything instead of such a short epilogue / few lines. Especially the whole everyone forgot her but not the searching for her / MC freaking out about it, but then remembered her and all the situation after? Some of the epilogues jumped years ahead in time, and this one was just a bit disappointing in comparison. It also felt like the author couldn't come up with a good explanation for most of it so they just skipped it. Suzuna: Cute, idol route, because of that it's pretty predictable the way the route will unfold. There's really not a whole lot to the idol thing. Otherwise it's fine. Nanami: I did this one last because I usually find that the "main" heroine of a game is the best written as they should've gotten the most attention during production. This was not true in this case, but I wouldn't say this route is bad. I'd rank it above Suzuna's and Mao's, but below the rest. There's just nothing special here. Overall, perfectly decent VN without glaring flaws (other than the localization), but also without any obvious strengths other than the premise itself.

It's pretty good. Requires a patch for 18+ content, but that's nothing new for Shiravune as well as many Japanese Dev's. People just need to stop complaining about this, as I"m pretty sure it's Valve's end that forces them to do this. Anyways, Its a recommend, perhaps more so on sale, as it's a fairly generic premise of "A wish makes Protag-kun's life compeletly opposite of the virgin existence he was living in, originally". I say this is generic, because this isn't my first Rodeo, I've played at least 4 other Eroge Vn's that have the exact same premise. The positives so far, are the character designs are quite nice to look at, the UI is fairly intuitive, and the Save files allow one to name them and there are pages for save files, this is the first game I've seen, that orginizes the save files like a bookmark, within a book, and it's actually a pretty good idea that many other Eroge's should follow. It's negatives are that it's pacing is a bit fast, you're protagonist is introduced to the Goddess of Love, Urara, that becomes your sister, because Japan, and then a Year goes by... which was communicated to me in a sentence, and here I thought Protag-kun had a year, but it's only a month. Such a big timeskip is pretty jarring, from a narrative perspective, especially since nothing happened before that to establish why such a big timeskip occurs. At times the dialogue is a bit dry and not quite as fun to listen along to, compared to other Vn's (Visual Novels). These are my minor complaints, so far. On a personal note, I'm having issues connecting to these Heroines, mainly because the dialogue is kind of dry at times, and is merely a means of exposition, as opposed to character development. I guess so far, Eye-patch girl is pretty cute and interesting, due to her dialogue being not so dry and quite witty. The other two are fairly generic heroines, Main girl with black hair is untouchable, and Side girl with the literal sideways ponytail is clumsy. Their faults are they are fairly generic tropes of previous heroine tropes in these VN's, so far. The story will likely pick up, but I might be kind of bored so far, as it's pretty text heavy with little recourse for immersion and feeling like you're helping make decisions in this story, so far. I would recommend, more so on sale, that way if you're not feeling the story, then it doesn't feel like such an investment to get through. 7/10
