This is such a beautiful idea for a game, it's obvious that the people behind it are very kind :) I've only played for a short while, but I've written several letters to people who needed help and it's really helping me to do so. I am bad at asking for help sometimes but helping others and getting lovely feedback is teaching me too :) Sometimes the best way of learning something is to teach others, and it is helping me to frame good thoughts for others, as it helps me to do it for myself :) I am so enjoying the positivity it infuses me with, it's something I didn't know I needed :) Also the music is very chllled :D This is a game to play if you want to share positivity with other anonymous humans, and it's quite a moving concept. If there's one thing the whole world needs right now, it's more random kindness between all kinds of humans, cos humans is all we all are.
It's a good place to get help and offer help, if you have good intentions. The problem is that new users are coming in who don't seem to understand it's not a place to lecture people seeking help. It's called "Kind Words". Not "Let Me Soapbox To You About Your Problem". Not "You Just Need Some Tough Love." If you're one of those people who gets off on their own opinion, do everybody a favor and don't bother with this game. We don't want you, you're not the audience for this game, and you will be reported and banned eventually.
It's perfect to write about your feelings and it feels good to get respond from people who understands you. I wish we can write back to the person who reply us. Maybe we can add each other friends and text each other whenever we want. Some people who can see each other can be bff after all.
Kind Words is exactly as the name suggests. It's a game I visit when I'm really going through it and I want some kind words from a stranger, no more, no less. In Kind Words you can make a "request", which is an anonymous short bit of text that other players can reply to, also anonymously. Like others have mentioned in their reviews, there is no way of going into detail about the situation you want to describe or the reply you're giving, since there is a pretty low word limit. Still, the game makes me feel a little less alone and it keeps my mind occupied when I'm struggling. I've not had any toxic replies, which kind of surprised me tbh, so kudos for that
I'm writing a few things I was curious about before purchasing the game, so you don't have to Google it like me :) 1. No, the game or the community isn't dead after Kind Words 2. Kind Words and Kind Words 2 are using the same server, so if you want to save a couple of bucks, you can still purchase this one! 2. Yes, you are safe. Ever since I joined the game, I never, ever encountered any toxicity. HOWEVER, I have seen some reddit screenshots, which developers quickly replied to take action. The game has a report button, and devs are taking it seriously. Also you are completely anonymous, so you don't have to worry about your information. This is not a game. This is a beautiful community and kudos to devs for creating such a safe environment. Only downside of this would be the character limitations while you are writing, but other than that, there is nothing!
