Games only about 3-4 hours but thats around the time it kind of gets boring. I played it with two friends so the experience is better, I cant imagine playing this alone its kind of not fun enough for that. Its kind of REALLY a social game. The train movement is the best part about its concept, whereas the implementations of the other features are kind of lacking. You can upgrade your train to essentially build a cage from enemies... but the cage easily gets destroyed sometimes even just a single enemy can destroy 30+ Planks (Of which you never find that many anyway) and even if it did protect you, the only enemies that dont just attack again are the flying eyes . The main defense against enemies is (at the start) throwing rocks and later on a mix of maybe a few revolver bullets... and it never gets better/easier to get ammunition or rocks. Its kind of really tedious at some point, no upgrades no anything to improve this.... Buying ammo for the revolver is also expensive as hell and unless you abuse the gambling which is basically asking you how much you value your time. What I (and my mates) liked the most was the minigames, especially the bootball its a shame there arent way more of them. Overall the game was pretty creative and you got to see a lot of new exciting areas/puzzles (they were kinda easy which is kinda sad though) + its kind of big for an indie game. Overall id still recommend it with mates for a chill few hours.

I really enjoyed Forest Escape. It's a fun little game that doesn't take itself too seriously. Some moments are a bit silly, but in a good way, and the humor actually made me smile a few times. I liked the mix of horror, puzzles, and exploration. It felt a bit different from the usual indie horror games. The atmosphere is creepy without being over the top, and I especially loved the train. Overall, it was a fun experience and I'm glad I played it

The game is pretty good, the train mechanic feels fresh and the way u progress just feels good The puzzles have different mechanics, which helps to keep the people engaged, the secrets are a cool addition to the game and the environment that u can interact with it just allows u to take some funny and cool memories in the journey Overall pretty solid game and I hope to find more games like this in future, maybe even more content from the devs :D

My two best friends and I beat the game on the hardest difficulty. Overall, we had a great time. The puzzles were fun and well-designed, especially the soccer section—it was hilarious and made the World Cup season even more enjoyable for us. The final boss fight was solid and fairly easy once you got used to the mechanics. It felt a bit overwhelming at first, but after a few attempts it became much more manageable. One suggestion I'd make is to add more intense chase sequences later in the game. Since the train is the heart of the experience and even part of the game's identity, I'd love to see it play a bigger role in creating suspense and excitement. Keep it up, devs! I think this game has a lot of potential, and I'd love to see more updates and DLCs in the future. We did run into a few bugs. Loading the last checkpoint sometimes took quite a while. One of my friends lost all of his items after rejoining the game, and at the train depot the train glitched off the tracks, causing the cars to overlap and get tangled together. Somehow, we still managed to get through it. Overall, I'd give it a 7.5/10. Definitely recommend it if you have a group of friends to play with!
