It's early in development, but you can sense there is a lot of groundwork done for a truly incredible sim. The original had magic in its completeness, and you will need some time to adjust to the sequels visuals, some assorted changes (limited action points for example), and growing pains, but then you will be pleasantly surprised by all the new features (coalitions, international dimensions, great elections, and so on) and the sense of what is possible with this skeleton. So if you are a fan of the first, get this game and get through the learning curve, and enjoy.

Game is pretty good and keeps getting better. A few months back this was a pretty buggy game with limited features, but the dev is working at a decent rate and has added a lot of new content and fixed many bugs that had plagued the game. Do recommend

I think this game has a fantastic concept. The ability to run for elections and become members of government, and be able to write laws. I love it. If this game was much more fleshed out it'd probably be worth the high price it is now.
