Great drone sim. I fly FPV IRL and it all started with a few hours in this game to get the handle of things. 1000% would recommend. To the devs: I would argue 80% or more of real life drone enthusiasts spend their time troubleshooting. No sim is complete until you have to figure out why your long range VTX loses video feed around 20ft ;]
Most fun I've had in a while. LiftOff gives me the same enjoyment that I get when playing games like Escape From Tarkov or Dark Souls. It has that challenge that makes you want to improve. The only difference is you can buy a real drone afterwards. ------------ I am playing with a RadioMaster Pocket ELRS and it works well through USB or Bluetooth
Amazing game! At first, I thought something was wrong with my controller because it was painfully hard to do basic things. But I kept trying — playing 30 minutes every day with the tutorial drone — and I started to get the hang of it. I even managed to win one race against the bots, even though it seemed impossible just a few days ago. I’m very happy to see how I get better and better after each practice session. Not sure how this skill will translate to an IRL drone, but I think to some degree it will. Strongly recommend!
