After playing "Fear and Hunger 1" and "Fear and Hunger 2 Termina" a while ago, I was always on the search for a game that would "scratch the same itch" I suppose and with "Look Outside" I finally found what I was looking for. Not only are the visuals and the atmosphere absolutely stunning, but every other element of this game has quickly liftet "Look Outside" atop of mylist of my favorite games of all time. The first run I did in this game I was frequently in awe of how much content and interactions would surface again and again, seemingly never ending. Above all the main character is what I always wanted to be, unemployed. So if you like RPG Maker games, cosmic/body Horror and want a challenging but not as RNG heavy game, as "Fear and Hunger 1" for example, this is the perfect game for you. Also the Soundtrack is one of the best OST's i've ever heard in a game, it's so damn good. Would buy it a million times over. <3

I've been looking for days...weeks..months if not years for a new experience. Something that makes me feel something. Something that moves me. Something potentially horrific but not sexual. Something beautiful as it is depressing. This is the best game I've played in more years than I can remember. The ending left me staring at my screen, drinking in the music and utterly frozen. This story is as relatable as it is inhuman. It tethers the imagination to the ground with such force that it knocks the air out of your lungs. It is so immeasurably fun as well from a combat RPG perspective. This is for people who love HP lovecraft and unknowing horror but despise pointless nudity and sexual assault. You learn to love the people you meet. Genuinely from the disfigured, to the broken, to the confused and to the recovering. I could list some cons as well but I just finished the game and I refuse to. I haven't finished a game in a very long time but I did not stop until this was finished. I felt I had a responsibility to see it through. What a soundtrack this game has. What a soundtrack. Buy it. Buy it twice. This very well might be one of my favorite video game experiences I've ever had and for many of us who find ourselves inside too much, wishing we had friends as messed up as we are, all afraid of a confusing distorted world outside the window...This is the game you should play. My god what a game.

I came into this expecting scary monsters to kill, ended up adopting a wholesome family of weirdos. I really like the theme of this game, not every creature is out to get you, some have their bodies twisted into something horrific, but they still retain their humanity, and the game will reward you for treating them like people. I ended up getting really attached to the growing crowd of goobers squatting around in my apartment. An amazing, underrated gem of a game, wish I could play it all over again for the first time.
