Given how everyone was criticizing the narrator i thought id have to suffer through useless dialogue and a guide annoying me everytime i tried to explore something but it wasnt like that at all Im conflicted a bit cause the mechanics were fun but the cutscenes were awkward cause the music randomly cuts out and i have to play in total silence im not sure if that was from the game or if it was an issue on my behalf but nevertheless its still an enjoyable game i liked the story and the message it was trying to deliver But i recommend buying it when its on sale..
I own this game on the PlayStation 5 and liked it enough to buy it on steam and play it on the steam deck (had no problems). I finished the game 100% and got all the achievements which weren’t that hard to get. This game is great, has good story and I love how you can turn into other animals. I will be playing the rekindled version of the game in the future. That would make it 3 times I have played this game. I highly recommend this game I keep going back and playing it
A game made with lots of passion! There's an interesting storyline, beautiful scenery, things to collect, and many animals to "possess". What I had an issue with, is how large the areas were sometimes, making it get a little frustrating to search for all the mushrooms and relics. The Legendary animals were no problem to find, though. Only hardcore players would go after every single collectible. Overall, a charming game!
I installed this game three years ago, during one of the darkest periods of my life. Lost Ember came to me at a time when I didn’t yet understand how much a human life matters - including my own. Back then, I was living in an environment where I was constantly harassed, threatened, and made to feel unsafe. I didn’t have the emotional strength to actually play the game. All I could do was listen to the soundtrack - Main Theme, Your Light, All That You Are etc. Those tracks were some of the very few things that brought me calm when everything else was unbearable. I finished Lost Ember only now, years later, and I cried almost the entire time. This game speaks about guilt, loss, forgiveness, and the value of a human life in a way very few stories ever do. I deeply wish I had played it earlier. Maybe I would have been kinder to myself. Maybe I would have understood sooner that my life had value too. ''Lost Ember'' doesn’t scream its message - it whispers it gently, and that is exactly why it stays with you. Thank you for creating something so quiet, so beautiful, and so meaningful. This game will stay with me forever. ❤️❤️❤️
