This Roguelike is genuinely pretty fun. The first few runs are a bit rough but the amount of customization later into the game is well worth it. Upgrading your tree allows for some very good passive quality life in my opinion. Learning new skills different skills for each class and crafting new equipment that can be found in each run. After completing it once you get access to even hand picking an entire build if you have enough tears to star. You can augment the difficulty and survival mode is a vampire survivor with added benefits. Lastly it might seem like its a small roster. However each character has multiple skills the augment the game play and if you want to be more advanced. If you unlock multiple different skills you want to use. You can hot swap the abilities and stack them. It's especially good on the summoner where you can summon multiple different summons by hot swapping and using your charged attack skill. Definitely went from thinking it's generic game to a pretty advance one under the surface. The only real bug I can complain on is that some bosses the audio doesn't start right away but very small nitpick that should be easily fixable.

Very decent and potential game with characters, gears and skills system but lack contents. The content is too short and need to add additional contents, levels and bosses to retain players. Also why the game doesn't provide additional slots for special skills? I thought I can use only one special skill each run but actually you are able to switch special skills, the problem is you have to navigate to the menu and manually change to another skill which is very inconvenient, should have more quick slots for special skills... But overall a hidden gem and worth the price.

I think this game is well worth the money. Its a well put together experience with a ton of build options that keep the game fun and unique each run though. Combat has a nice flow to it and the fact we actually have to attack instead of it being an auto cast game is great in my opinion. A few of the characters are blatantly better then the other (mainly the mage and the assassin), and the archer kind of sucks but overall this game is a blast. If you like Rougelikes with an emphasis on action then try this game out.

Decent game. Has several downsides needs a lot of improvements. Some problems I'm about to mention are expected from Early Access titles but not full release. - Attacks can come from off-screen with no warning. Forcing memory of the actual level design rather than the enemy itself. Enemies that are alerted of the player should have some indication of their existence off screen and not be able to cheap shot the player while they are focusing on the group that is on screen. - Some ground effects are hard to notice due to size and the transparency visual effect used for them. This also causes an issue with the off-screen issue. Focusing on unit timing while they are on screen is acceptable. having to pay attention to your character's feet at all times because you have no clue if someone is off screen is the worst especially when it's an AoE that has a small enough size that the player model blocks it off behind them. - Blessing Choices made for rewards have no information at all. None. Only way to know what they do requires you to check after you make a tough decision. Except, there is no reason for the player to be expected to memorise this entire game to effectively make the right choice. This takes away from the point of a roguelite RNG experience. How are we supposed to make the most out of what we are given if we don't even have a way to view what we actually are given? Yes, we can choose what ever has a word that makes sense for what we are doing but with roguelite games, synergy is important and such thought is the very removal of that freedom for synergy to make that a valid reason against providing info during choices. - Resources could use an explanation as to what they are for. The game's tutorial doesn't really do well in explaining anything aside from what buttons do and a feel for combat. Player's wind up guessing where to go. We shouldn't be hand-held. But, at least knowing what is what would allow us to appreciate the value of what we get much more and contribute to important decision making for our runs which again, is what a roguelite is about. - Most annoyingly, visual UI is just poor. I'm not talking about the english typo's here and there. I'm actually speaking about how the graphic settings for changing font size and visual clarity for any form of accessibility that exists in just about any roguelite game out there, including action ones, are just entirely non-existent. Resolution is just a "blur the game" setting if you are on a wide-screen montitor with no way to properly resize the game window at all with less pixels. Game works well on wide-screen resolution but anything outside of desktop native resolution, the game struggles to properly display the selected resolution unless the game also matches desktop resolution. The full blame is graphic card settings but tinkering with them doesn't provide any difference due to the way the game is designed. Unsure if it's a specific series or not. This happens with ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 with an intel core i5 4590 cpu at 3.30 ghz running almost perfectly smooth FPS with 2560x1440 resolution for both game and native desktop resolution with steam overlay enabled, discord running in background and couple web browser tabs, one of which is youtube. SO, game is decently setup but just some oversights and some well needed Accessibility options for visual clarity, Game needs color blind choices and UI needs slight size customisation choice that be quite great. I have and met others with Kerateconus (not a form of color blindness at all btw) and it causes some overlapping shader choices to stress the eye at times especially with flashing effects when they occur near certain visuals causing blending colors. With all the issues stated and explaining my perspective about them. Game just came out and hasn't even caught a patch yet. So, won't be surprised if all the negatives wind up being obsolete within the next couple months but it's possible not all would ever be adjusted. Dev's choice after all. Still, worth the pickup as long as the mentioned problems don't bother you. As far as I experienced, there are more technical downsides but they are small and not serious enough to weigh my reasoning as to why I would recommend to people and those who have a problem with what I mentioned are the exception for whom I would not recommend toward as longas they remain. But, I'm still going to play it regardless even though they do weigh on my session frequency.

A lot of roguelikes tend to transform into "walk around and kill everything" simulators. Not much is needed for the player but to walk around, and sometimes, when you hit critical mass, even standing still, you kill everything. Not so much this game. Please consider buying this if you enjoy fast, reactive, and tightly-timed and tuned controls and reaction. You will get hurt if you suck at the game, you need to manage the crowds of enemies and prioritize threats, and you will get a variety of interesting tools and equipment bonuses to devastate them. The key adventure mode of stage by stage clearing is fun, with interesting bosses and varied enemy types with unique threats past "This one hits harder than that one." Treants, for example, will consistently try to entrap you to make you easy prey for everything else. There is plenty of reward for skilled play. You can't just idly move your fingers over WASD or thumb on the joystick of choice to move around. There's so much demanded of you, and the beautiful pixel art, the reactiveness of the skills, and the variety in how you dispose and are disposed of by enemies is incredibly good. There are numerous English localization quirks, however. Clearly, devs are ESL and did not or could not hire professional typesetters and translators. There are some things like cramped, shrunken text; awkward item names, and confusing descriptions where you have to decipher what everything actually does. But, underneath that, there is a great high-speed action roguelike with incredible art and animations and plenty of juice for the flash and spectacle. You will feel like a badass, but you have to play like a badass.
