This is a great game which I have completed but the last achievement didn't drop! Lame! I think there is something wrong with the eating food achievement as I've completed it like twice but nothing happened and I am not going through that a third time (yes, I know that drinking drinks after defeating bosses count). Jump about as a small person with various weapons, find better weapons, stab and shoot with those weapons, get overconfident, die. That is about the summation of my time with this game. There are a lot of fun parts about it but it becomes a bullet hell in the end. There are some great things you can find that changes your playstyle meaning you can't get used to one way to play. You have to get used to whatever you find that is good. I like this idea as it makes each playthrough slightly different. Also, every run that I have ever done where I got freaking nothing can go and throw itself into the depths of the dungeon and rot there! Yeah, you can get super screwed and end up with only blue rated items by the time you are nearing the end, it sucks, and you think maybe your build just was the worst, don't believe it! You got jipped! The dungeon robbed you! Kill it! Kill it now! Also, that slime that shoots stuff can go and shove himself into his cannon and become my next weapon slave because for some reason he is the one boss that I can never seem to get just right. I know it is because of the stupid floor switching directions, but still, why does he get the ability to not get hurt for a while? I get that he is a huge target, but I think that bosses in a bullet hell should not be allowed to get a period of invulnerability. Jumping around and making me have to retarget is fine, but invulnerability, you are testing me game! All the other bosses were really fun. I liked the unique story when you play as the guy who is the second to last boss. Leveling up is fun and rewarding as well. I would say to pick it up. Overall I would rate this a 7.5/10, I would rate it higher if the last achievement popped when I did it for the second time, but since it is bugged it loses a half point. Make it work properly! Still, pick it up if you like bullet hells, and have fun. It isn't too bad of a bullet hell by the way. So just have a great time.

A fun metroidvania rouge-like. A bit grindy, but overall good. 4/5. I like Sephiria more.

Its a good game, it does rougelike well, it has nice tidbits of story, progression stays interesting, I find myself using only a handful of weapons and dont like a lot of them, but thats just me, could be different for you. I've found it to be a comfort game, and have come back to it even after beating it. They did a good job with the game. Keep in mind I generally don't like single player games and even less if they're 2D. So like, if this is more in your alley then +++

Dungreed is genuinely my alltime favorite game, I love the variety in builds, and I would LOVE to see it get more updates or DLC's, it would be so amazing to have more content for it, the variety of builds and options, as well as the dozens and dozens of various synergies, along with the versatility to be able to beat the game with pretty much any weapon you want to regardless of tier and power, as long as you have the skills, is so wonderful, I'd recommend this game to any roguelike and roguelite enjoyers any day of the week.
