Loved this game back in the day, needs a lot of help now, and it wont ever get it, but I had a lot of good and bad memories playing this by myself. If it was integrated with steam instead of needing external things like Hamachi to get it working with friends, I'm sure it would have gone over better. I even made a notepad list of features when I had a desire for game design that I wanted to give the dev, but never knew how, so I'll just put them here, to showcase all the things this game is missing or need changed that would make it way better. Quick stacking to chests Lance weapons have a movement boost + dash glitch Longer levels with more layouts a depo chest for shops missing recipe combinations with ??? over output cant use HP/mana potions when full HP/mana health bars on enemies (especially on bosses) item rarity/colored text, to know when you get a good item, separate these colors into tiers. remove 'die to unlock' unlocks, no one likes killing off their long term character for an achievement, just make it like "reach X character level". Quest UI Asteroids graphic layer above machine progress bar UI Asteroid event on same layer as the game's Esc menu (lol) clicking on dialogue while in combat mode breaks the cropping of combat mode Lenny dialogue persists after killing Lenny in mission. Duration of photon blade no refreshed upon use walking in and out of healing totem sometimes doubles heals drone laser animation take status effect tick after clearing it with antidotes. Music restarts between shop and stage, make it continuous if stage type is the same allow use of credits from chest instead of pulling from chest every time. and im sure there is more. Used to love this game, Be wary. probably not good anymore.

This game is super hard to recommend, but I still want to because it is incredibly fun, and if you mod the game it feels much more complete. That being said, while the game is technically past 1.0 and "finished" it does not feel that way, especially as the creator sort of just abandoned this game. But the gameplay is still unique and I still have a lot of fun with it. If this is your type of game and its on sale, its a wonderful grab, but do bear in mind the very clear flaws. If I could give a neutral review I would, but as it stands I still really enjoy this game for what it is.

Great game and a ton of fun. Some bugs but they're minimal

Great game. Progression is a slow and rewarding process. Surprising amount of depth to crafting and character building. Don't count on any updates; your favorite character, class, or weapon will not be nerfed! (I've been burned my live service games nerfing my mains)

The game is absolutely amazing and honestly you'll love every single minute of it. It's 100% in a playable and story complete state. I do hope Sean Young comes back one day to 100% finish it, but at least the story elements are present and that's honestly good enough (as sad as it is)
