This game is keyboard-friendly, as I use a keyboard to play. I've played lots of fighting games, and some of them really don't accommodate keyboard users.

Feb. 2025
Bought this game on sale, then decided to refund it and buy it again full price. No predatory monetization. Automatic W for adding new DLC characters free of charge. No BS season passes or character DLC packs. Also, the same guy who made Melty Blood Actress Again OSTs is still in charge for these new OSTs. Still bangers. Absolute eargasm to listen to. Thank you Raito.

I've traveled out of my way to play this game with folks I've only met digitally. There isn't any Fighting Game on the market like it, from both the Free DLC to the movement and combat. The patches seem to be on a 1 year cycle now, which I like so that I'm not re-learning my character every few months. The main thing is netplay can be sparse, but people occasionallymake open lobbies. The best way to find games is through discord servers in your area, such as Panic Shield Anonymous in NA, Leumina for Europe, and MeltySUD for South America. There's a good group of people to find games with and learn. The game is also on sale for 60% off a good amount of times, so waiting for a sale to pick up the game is good for saving money, while also getting a cool game as a bonus. If you like this game too, you may also wanna try the previous game, Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code. It plays a bit differently, but a ton of fun in it's own right.

Best movement in any modern fighter by far making the neutral a blast to play. You have a jump, double jump, super jump dash and airdash. Forward dash leads into a continuous run that you can jump, attack or block out of. All the character DLC is free. The game looks and sounds fantastic. EVERY CHARACTER is fun to use. Plenty of story and single player content for the casual Tsukihime fans that aren't super big on grinding the skill aspect of fighting games COMMUNITY WISE: Yes this is a discord fighter but it's THE MOST ACTIVE discord fighter I've ever seen. The majority of the game's community resides in the PSA (Panic Shield Anonymous) discord. When you ping for games you'll get a match in minutes if not seconds. It has been like this consistently since the game's release. It's stunning how active the community is considering the game is relatively niche. If you wanna learn fighting games but don't know where to start this game is perfect. The movement, rapid beat and shield mechanic makes it easy to pick up and have fun even if you're a total noob. Those same mechanics are deep and engaging once you know what you're doing. if you want to improve there's plenty of people willing to play you. Basically just play the game it's great
