I'm giving this a thumb's up at 2.5 hours and also not playing any more. Why? Because this is clearly an excellent game that provides a superb kind of fun that I have zero interest in. I can understand why other people would love it. So, thumb's up. if you like highly linear first person shooter fights with lots of running and jumping around, this game is your thing. Turns out, I don't like that, or at least don't like this specific variation of it.
Fun game, good mechanics without being too complicated, and the aesthetic is top notch. Overall a good sci-fi shooter.. If that's your jam and you like the look of the of the teaser videos, I think you'll enjoy it. I picked it up on a whim and finished it in just under 7 hours and I think it was worth it.
This game very clearly suffered from a rushed development cycle, its short, the story is mostly told through voice overs and there are a few bugs around. However. I can't help but love this game man. The gameplay is really solid, a very fun and satisfying twist on the Doom Eternal gameplay loop. The graphics are utterly insane. The art style actually takes advantage of the graphics, this game looks so good. The voice over are actually really well done, they got some real talent on it. The soundtrack is amazing. The sound design is amazing as well. Even though the story is short and some corners were cut, I still actually enjoyed it. Its the exact type of weirdo scifi I love. I hope the devs get the time to polish the game up a bit more, get rid of the bugs, maybe improve performance just a little bit, and add some new content. A arena or endless mode would be really appreciated. But for now? I'm happy with my purchase (bought it with the launch discount).
