This game is really well done. I've only done the first playthrough, (and am partway through the second) but I am enjoying it immensely. I love the guy who talks to you over your headset, and the concept for the game is very unique. You are a thief who needs to steal an item from an old mansion, but the mansion has multiple objectives and pathways that change depending on the playthrough. Then, after you complete the heist, the game rewinds, and you are tasked with a new objective. I've never played a game with a mechanic like this, and the game gets eerier and scarier as you play, leading to a fantastic build-up. Also, the game mechanics change with each pathway, keeping the game feeling fresh. This would make a tremendous concept for a big-budget game due to its originality! I'm not saying his game isn't fantastic, because it is, however! I picked up the game for seven bucks, and it's a bargain at that price! Will be following this dev closely!

Briefly This game is an interesting story game with elements of horror. Going on a robbery, you will be able to solve the mystery of the house and its inhabitants. Interesting mechanics and colourful special effects are waiting for you. + - Storyline Screamer dynamics Level design Atmosphere of horror VFX Boring gameplay Total 7/10 Full review Already in the menu, the game is met with minor bugs. The interface of tabs with game settings and controls was displayed incorrectly. Sliders over text. From the first seconds of the game two things immediately catch your eye: [*]A soft toy rabbit on the table. This rabbit is part of the Asset that is used in almost every indie horror game; [*]The visuals of the interface show that the game is made on an Asset for making horror games - ‘horror engine unreal’. There are small bugs such as the character passing through a door when opening it. (Although I realise that creating opening doors for developers often causes problems and this is not a critical bug). Almost all puzzles in the game are primitive. Screamer animations are pretty dry. Almost all scary moments lack atmosphere and dynamics. (Few sounds, no post processing changes or at least camera dynamics) Very strong slowdown of gameplay due to constant crawling in tunnels. (Perhaps this is done to load locations, but it is unlikely as after the first run such moments are almost never encountered) But despite the above mentioned shortcomings there are quite a lot of good moments in the game. From the beginning to the end of the game there is a solid story, which is very interesting to follow. Each new playthrough adds details to the story. After the middle of the game you can often see beautiful special effects, which is a rarity for games of this genre. Towards the end there are some interesting mechanics with the camera. There is even something of a boss battle present in the game. (Even though it looks a little low quality). I'd say it's more of a story adventure than a horror film. I recommend you to pass it to familiarise yourself with the plot. But do not look for horror in this game.

This game has a lot of interesting things going on. It has a nice atmosphere, the house is very well modelled and at first I was scared with anticipation to be there. Unfortunately the description lies about its non-linearity, you are forced to go down specific paths that are effectively hallways, at first it gently guides you but if you go the wrong way it pulls you out. Thankfully I went the way it wanted me to for the first run, and I was scared with anticipation, but at the first scare the game pulls your camera towards the movement and plays a loud noise which kind of ruined it. If I were to suggest anything to the dev for future games it would be to embrace more subtlety- if that door slamming had happened in the corner of my eye and not completely focused on I would have freaked out, but due to the way it was done it queued me in that the scares will be scripted. EXCEPT FOR CHAPTER 2. Chapter 2 was fantastic, the polaroid mechanic was so unique. If you do play this game make sure you take a picture of every painting in the house that you can, got some really organic scares from the painting transitions, it was great. The earlier point still applies, as later you see a video on how to defeat the "boss" of the chapter; by taking photos of it. Then when you get there the voice in your ears shouts at you telling how to beat it, where it would have been much more organic/fitting to let the storytelling that was already put into place to the talking for you. Not bad, I had a good time, would be interested in playing more of their games in future

A surprisingly competent horror game considering that it's an indie title and that it's so cheap. The assets are clearly bought due to their high quality (which is not a criticism) and the voice acting is of a high standard. The gameplay is also solid with some relatively interesting puzzles and interactions throughout. During my playthrough I was actually genuinely unsettled by the fantastic atmosphere, to the point of being quite afraid, and that's something I've found lacking in other popular Indie titles. The criticism that I do have is that elements of the game are slightly mismatched. This is also true of the narrative, which starts out at the paranormal and segways rather gracelessly into the psychological. You can do both of course, but at sub two hours this title doesn't do it well, leaving us with a mundane ending that frankly felt a little cheap. Overall I'd recommend picking it up on sale if you want a competent horror with a great atmosphere. It's good value and stands out unique amongst some of the more prominent horror clones available on steam.

A story that gives vibes of Layers of Fear and Visage while having a fantastic stand-out story. The environment is beautiful with great color palette choices that set the mood and great lighting design to go with it. The story has great twists that highlight the horrors of the creative mind, while pointing out the pains of real life. Some of the VO can get a bit annoying at times and it feels like it misses its' mark at times due to the translation quality of the script. It isn't terrible but the translation can get a bit rough or unnatural sounding at times (in English). The pacing is really good and time can fly. It feels like you have experienced SO MUCH in a small amount of time. Overall Score: 8/10 Gameplay & In-Depth Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=batENLsmufw
