I enjoy this game a lot! I used to work at a motel in real life and enjoyed it very much, so I decided to try this game. You can name your motel and see the name lit up in lights when you finish all of your rooms.. or you can see the name of your motel displayed in lights on a huge ad that you can buy when you have the cash! I really liked that!! I enjoyed starting from one crappy motel room .. gradually earning enough to expand my motel, one room at a time, doing laundry and sweeping up all by myself.. to having 20 pretty decent rooms in my motel and several employees to help me out. The rooms are not all the same size, which made them more fun and challenging to decorate. The shop and gas station are fun to run, also. Stocking the shelves is easy and fun to do. The employees are interesting as well as the customers. Starting from barely nothing and then expanding the motel/gas station/shop felt really rewarding to me. I have made over $150,000 in the game so far! It is so fun to run around collecting money from the gas station, the cash registers at the shop, the vending machines, and the phones!! I enjoy raking in that money! And then there are the Ads! Wow! Cha ching!!! There is a also a dark side to the game, if you like that kind of thing... you can choose to have crime.. or not. I certainly appreciate the option to have crime or not have crime! Though I am sure a lot of people enjoy crime and mayhem, I chose the option to chill and relax when I play this game without crime! I did, however, have to try the crime option out at least once... just to see! Smilez I have enjoyed over 100 hours playing this game and am still motivated to log in and play some more! I recommend this game!

---{Graphics}--- I believe these are intentionally crunchy and it gives the game a certain charm. Unfortunately, despite my graphics settings all being lowered as much as possible, I still experience lagging and stuttering on an infrequent basis. This doesn't consistently worsen if I increase the graphics settings to medium. It sort of seems like the game just tolerates medium graphics on some days and tolerates only low graphics settings on other days. ---{Gameplay}--- It's definitely a simulator. It WILL scratch that simulator itch some of us have. There is NO story, you just roll up to your motel and start making changes. There is a small tutorial that gives you the basics of gameplay. ---{Audio}--- No music. Dialogue is very classical NPC. Your employees do not speak. ---{Audience and Content Warnings}--- Everybody except unreasonably strict parents will like this game. I do not think a child under say, 8-10 years old would have the motor skills and comprehension to enjoy the game to the fullest extent, but I think every age could get something out of this. As someone with multiple mental health issues including PTSD, I would say there is only one clear trigger. It is the sound of a gunshot, caused by you when you shoot someone. The game is so pixelated that the "violence" in this game is just shy of cartoonish. There are only two sources of death in this game - Random Motel Guest Death and Killing a Thief. Either way, you will need to dispose of the body using a barrel and nondescript acid before the cop (who visits 1-2x daily) shows up or they will fine you. They won't handle the body for you (figures lol) just fine you. The acid just slowly fills the barrel with red goop. I wouldn't call it graphic or disturbing at all. Again, borderline cartoon violence. ---{PC Requirements}--- For people that have no clue what all that graphics lingo crap means: I have a 2022 HP Envy. I believe the graphics card is an Intel Iris R XE. I have not changed the graphics card or upgraded it in any way. It is a middleman between a competent office laptop and a beginner's gaming laptop. I would say my computer typically cannot play games created in the last 5 years unless the games were intentionally made with accessible graphics. This game is okay. It struggles depending on factors I cannot determine, and sometimes the lagging is quite frustrating. Contraband Police seems to be where my laptop fails to accomplish anything. I ran Wolf Among Us without any issues. ---{Difficulty}--- What do YOU want out of this game? You're very free to do what you want. If you want to blow money on random things, then do that. If you want to paint every room a different color, then you can do that. You can close any one of your three businesses - gas, store, and motel, at will and define your experience that way. Overall, the game is simple and straightforward. I think some concepts could be made a little clearer, such as rug dimensions or the sizes of bottles/cans. But that's more about UI and labelling than difficulty. It is easy to shoot people if you would like to. If you keep a full belly, you can run, which makes that even easier. ---{Grind}--- No real grind to unlock anything. You cannot go too long between bookings, though, or you will lose too much money and be unable to upgrade your motel or buy gas/shop items. ---{Story}--- Zero! It is a simulator. ---{Game Time}--- Ideal for rotting in bed on a weekend. I personally would not play this on a weeknight because I get too fixated on it. Time in the real world passes very quickly while you play this game. ---{Price}--- I am always going to tell people to buy things that are on sale. I did not do that this time because I saw this game on Youtube and got really excited. ---{Bugs}--- You cannot have the warehouse shelves, either facing each other or lined up, too closely together. Otherwise, your housekeepers will run around in circles eternally holding your equipment hostage until you fire them. ---{?/10}--- ☐1 ☐2 ☐3 ☐4 ☐5 ☐6 ☐7 ☑8 ☐9 ☐10 SUGGESTION: Please offer more variety among the high quality / rate boosting furniture or add color swatches for the existing furniture! It might sound silly, but it drives me a little crazy that the wood colors do not match when I buy the best items for a room. The bed and the desk might be a medium-warm wood color but the closet is a stark grey and the bookcase is deep brown. And then there's the random assortment of bright red things... I also recommend more size variety among the rugs and some clear indication of the size of the rug before purchasing it. I LOVE the variety of the different shop items you can carry. I wish I knew how to make people stop buying all my stuff well before I can fully stock the store. I mean, I know it's probably raising the price, but charging people $20 for a bag of chips feels mean, lol. Please clearly indicate the sizes of bottles and cans. One serious issue for me has been the employees. They are not very smart. Ryan in particular seems to take breaks whenever he pleases. It doesn't seem to be any sort of pattern, maybe every three days he just leaves his post? Now, I'm no corporate overlord, he is more than welcome to take breaks. Even a tiredness meter would do the trick. But please, make it a consistent patten or trackable through stats or something? That way, I can plan for his breaks and have someone ready to cover for him rather than realizing halfway across the parking lot that I have a gas station customer leaving enraged in 10 seconds.

I really love this game! I have basically maxed everything at 20hr in gameplay, all that's left is to redecorate my rooms to have only high end furniture and nice decor. I don't even have all the ads possible, but never seem to dip below $10K balance. It's still fun to play, even with no more goals or upgrades. One thing I do wish is that people wouldn't come ask for rooms if you have none empty with the motel open. I have to open and close all the day based on whether I have rooms since it's annoying to turn people away all the time.

Surprisingly addictive, love it. It's like three games rolled into one with a gas station, shop, and motel. While the motel is the main feature of the game, I find myself heavily involved in the store and warehouse instead. It's buggy at times, but even the bugs can be charming. A few early notes I wish I knew: - Don't over-spend on your first room. You might accidentally run out of money before it's "ready" locking up your game. As long as you have at least one source of income, you can fix pretty much any problem or lack of cash. If you DID overspend before finishing the first room: Use your price gun to sell a few items and get it rentable. - Just turn stuff off. Seriously - if you're overwhelmed by doing gas and the store and stocking and rooms, just toggle a couple things off for a bit so you can slow down a little and focus. - You can use E to stock shelves while still holding all 5 boxes, it just pulls from the bottom. - If you turn off "And sells boxes" for the warehouse workers, they tend to move faster. I noticed that if they finish off a box, they stall for a while in the shop I'm guessing while they work through the "sell box" task. Just sell the empty boxes yourself when you get a chance. - If any workers get permanently stuck like my cleaner did in one room - just fire them and they'll disappear. Re-hire and they're fixed. - If your game keeps crashing or crashes initially, reducing graphics might help Request for devs: please allow changing keybinds, specifically left CTRL (switch for shift or caps.) It's so constant that you need to hold down CTRL - way more important than running - but people with smaller hands might struggle with that one.

!! Gore Warning !! By default the game has criminals enabled and They can murder your customers. You then have to dissolve the bodies in acid barrels and dump the human slush before the cops find them. Outside of that, this is a chill management sim. Just make sure not to keep employees running 24/7 early on or you will go bankrupt.
