Edit: after 59.5 hours, I've gone as far as I can with this game in it's current state. Sadly, it's abandoned so I probably won't be returning. It's a brilliant game with some pretty big caveats. On deciding to finish up and close the Sunset Glitch Motel, I had 17 rooms and it was becoming a chore. There is absolutely no point hiring staff to be housekeepers as the function simply doesn't work. Yes, the staff will clean the rooms but they won't touch the beds or restock the rooms. This means you have to run around with a cart load of sheets. Not so much of a problem when you have just a few rooms but at 17 it leaves with little time for anything else. You need to save on a near constant basis due to numerous bugs (I got stuck in a skip once) There some absolutely ingenious little touches like the robbers/acid and two of my guests getting hacked to death in their room (yes really.) It's quite a dark little game. If there was a way to fix the housekeeping I'd continue as there is potential but it's become a grind. It’s such a shame this is an abandoned title as I love it! Yes there are bugs-many, many bugs and a few that are unfortunately game breaking but there’s also so much detail! I’m currently running the Sunset Glitch Motel in the middle of a forest. In addition to my two rooms for rent, we have a petrol station (staffed by Melania who occasionally stops working, gets into her pyjamas and demands to be paid) and a shop. Apparently later in the game (I’m unsure if it was abandoned first) you can have a garage. There’s a lot going on here and unlimited potential! Devs, if you’re reading this, you’re onto a gold (or petrol) mine! It’s brilliant!

Great simulation! AI could use some work and feels a bit outdated. Devs should really turn this into a proper game instead of abandonware. Good idea and base game, would be cool if someone could update it though.

I like the premise of this game. However, it hasn't had a major update in months. I feel as though DLC is needed or maybe even add more furniture/walls/flooring ect. After a few hotel rooms, it feels as though we're using the same stuff over and over again. Other than that, the game is fun and enjoyable.

I loved this game no bugs and you can actruly own your hotel and gas station and super market in one whole game

Lost potential due to the fact you cannot rebind your keys. 6 out of 10. 30 hrs at the time of this review and all I could think about is what a great little game this would have been if I was able to play naturally with rebind-able keys. Other than that it’s a fun game managing your motel, store, gas station, warehouse and employees.
