Spent almost 6 hours building a car from the ground up. The game doesn't hold your hand in any way, shape or form so I watched a few videos on YouTube for guidance. Finished building my car, didn't connect any brake lines, drove straight into a building and wrote the thing off. 10/10 would recommend!

My Garage – The Ultimate Hands-On Car Restoration Experience Pros: ✔️ Unmatched freedom in car restoration – Buy a rusted-out wreck, strip it down to the chassis, and rebuild it piece by piece. No other game gives you this level of control. ✔️ Deep mechanical realism – Every bolt matters. Forget to tighten something? It might fall off. Skip filling the brake fluid? Hope you don’t need to stop. ✔️ Engine swaps & upgrades – Throw any engine into any car and tweak it to your heart’s content. Whether you’re aiming for power or just getting it roadworthy, it’s all up to you. ✔️ Satisfying restoration process – Grinding off rust, filling dents with bondo, and painting your car to perfection feels incredibly rewarding. ✔️ Real consequences for mistakes – I installed an engine but forgot the radiator. Floored it down the highway, and surprise... I locked the engine up from overheating. ✔️ Driving has real wear & tear – Hit a curb too hard? Say goodbye to proper wheel alignment. Ignore damage? You’ll feel it in how the car drives. ✔️ Junkyard treasure hunting – Finding the perfect project car with procedural damage and rust makes every purchase unique. How to build a car 1. Head to the junkyard too buy a new project vehicle 2. Bring it back to your garage 3. Put it on a lift and tear it about 4. Lose 90% of the parts during the rebuilt and just buy them again 5. Complete build and pull out of garage to take photos 6. Either crash it on accident whilst driving or breathe near it launching it into a wall and writing it off. 7. Sell because you don't want to waste another 3 hours rebuilding it 8. Repeat 10/10 Would build again

Few games really keep me captivated and keeping me involved this much these days and I usually avoid Early Access games like the plague. However this game here tickled my interest (also because a very good friend of mine suggested this game to me, also because of the experimental co-op mode) and i bit the bullet. And after an initial bit of confusion to figure out the controls and how the mechanics aspect works, i am simply in love with this game! I had to watch some Lets Plays to see how you put together some things like an Engine (I'm a complete car mechanics noob so keep that in mind) but i'm actually learning quite a lot. It feels incredibly satisfying turning a scrapyard car (or even a wreck that you find somewhere and pick up for free) and turning it slowly, piece by piece, into a working car again that you can either sell or keep for your own private garage. My only complaint is how bad the Unity Engine performs on Systems with switchable GPUs but that is NOT the developers fault but Unity's fault. So if you have a System with switchable GPUs (like on laptops) be aware that Unity will only detect the low performance Intel video accellerator instead of your actual performance GPU. The Physics also may sometimes go haywire but that's a glitch that don't happen often but if it happens, leads to some funny moments when your car spins mid-air. :P I hope the developer keeps working on the Co-op mode so we get customizable avatars and stuff like that. Personally i enjoy the Sandbox aspect of this game that you can work at your own speed without any time constraints in your neck. You can even enable survival mode aspects like the need to eat and sleep and keeping an eye on your health. To add some more immersion and realism. Yes, even at the current Early Access state i can definitely recommend this game. Even when It's not on sale. Definitely worth the money.
