English Version (french below) : To me, this game has the best ost in the series, amazing boss battles (and the best Naruto-Sasuke fight in my opinion), a huge hub world where there is plenty to do and you can visit all villages, a modernized combat system (substitution meter, instant awakening, the ability to cancel attacks with dashes for longer combos).. nothing to say Honestly the platinum is not particularly hard apart from a few tricky S-rank, but I really recommend it if you like Naruto !

A lot more fun and well balanced than the previous game. Camera gets a little wonky at times during free roam. Oh and there's like no down time during the story so just leave all the nonstory stuff for post game. But overall a pretty chill, good, casual fun time.

Score: 0/100 +25 for solid gameplay. Improved and very intense boss battle. Could break a combo and do immediate dash is very nice. No longer spamming L2 or R2 button and praying for the substitution jutsu to be triggered. -20 for FVK1NG HELL LAST BATTLE AGAINST THE 7 BIJUUS! I MEAN, WTF WAS THAT!!?? -10 for no "select difficulty level" choice when playing the Story mode. +25 for the story that a little different and improved from the anime but still could be enjoyed. -20 for the story that a little different and improved from the anime, making the original source lovers kinda irritated because of the "it's not supposed to be like this!" kinda feeling. +25 for the improved Free Battle mode. More mode, like survival, training, ninja mission, is making it very interesting. Also more characters, costumes and arena is very nice. -5 for less pre-time skip characters available for Free Battle mode. -20 for Online Mode no longer work because there's no more player playing Online Mode anymore. +100 for GIRLS HAVE BIKINI COSTUMES!! WOOOOO YEAH BABY! THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!! FINAL SCORE: 100/100, recommended game!

It refines the combat from storm 2, but free exploration is only available after completing the story. You can still explore while playing the story but is limited for some area and option.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst is more than a fighting game, it is a landmark in anime gaming that redefined what fans could expect from adaptations of beloved series. CyberConnect2’s vision was not simply to replicate battles from the anime but to immerse players in the emotional and cinematic journey of Naruto’s world. In doing so, it crushed the competition, particularly Dragon Ball fighting games and other anime titles, by offering a complete package of narrative depth, gameplay sophistication, and visual artistry. Where Dragon Ball games often reduce their story modes to straightforward retellings of sagas, Full Burst elevates storytelling into an interactive experience. Covering the Fourth Great Ninja War arc, the game delivers not just battles but the emotional stakes behind them. Players feel the tension of war, the pain of loss, and the triumph of victory. The addition of Kabuto’s Sage Mode boss fight in Full Burst exemplifies CyberConnect2’s commitment to cinematic storytelling, offering a battle that feels monumental and unforgettable. Other anime fighters rarely achieve this level of immersion. They provide spectacle without substance, while Full Burst ensures that every fight is contextualized within a narrative that resonates deeply with fans. The combat system in Full Burst is a masterclass in balance. Arena-style battles allow fluid movement, chakra management, and dynamic jutsu execution. Substitution jutsu, awakening modes, and team-based support mechanics add layers of strategy that reward skill and timing. Unlike Dragon Ball fighters, which often rely on repetitive energy blasts and transformations, Naruto’s system emphasizes tactical play and adaptability. Other anime fighting games, such as One Piece: Burning Blood or Bleach: Soul Resurrección, feel either clunky or overly simplified. Full Burst manages to be both accessible for newcomers and rewarding for veterans, a rare achievement in the genre. CyberConnect2’s attention to detail is unmatched. The cel-shaded graphics perfectly capture the anime’s art style, while fluid animations make every jutsu feel alive. Cinematic boss battles blend quick-time events with breathtaking visuals, rivaling even modern anime productions. Dragon Ball games, despite their popularity, often recycle assets and animations across titles. Full Burst refuses to cut corners, offering a polished presentation that makes each fight feel monumental. It doesn’t just replicate the anime, it enhances it, creating a spectacle that leaves competitors in the dust. With over 80 playable characters, Full Burst delivers variety that few anime fighters can match. Each character feels intentional, bringing unique mechanics and playstyles. The expanded roster allows fans to recreate iconic battles or invent dream matchups. Enhanced cutscenes and the Kabuto boss fight gave players reasons to revisit the story mode, while online battles extended the game’s lifespan. Dragon Ball fighters, even with their massive rosters, often suffer from redundancy. Transformations are treated as separate characters, padding numbers without adding depth. Naruto’s roster feels carefully curated, ensuring that every addition enriches the gameplay. When compared to Dragon Ball fighting games, Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst emerges as the superior experience. Dragon Ball titles may boast iconic characters and flashy energy blasts, but they lack the narrative immersion, cinematic presentation, and mechanical depth that Naruto offers. Other anime fighters, from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle to Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom, fail to capture the same balance of storytelling and gameplay. Full Burst doesn’t just compete, it dominates. It proves that anime fighting games can be more than fan service, they can be artful, emotional, and mechanically rich experiences. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst is not just a fighting game, it is a benchmark for anime adaptations. It blends narrative, gameplay, and presentation into a package that crushes its rivals. Where Dragon Ball and other anime fighters settle for spectacle, Naruto delivers substance. It respects its source material while elevating it, ensuring that players don’t just watch the story unfold, they live it. In the crowded arena of anime fighting games, Full Burst stands tall, unapologetically superior, and undeniably unforgettable. It is the definitive proof that anime games can achieve greatness when they combine heart, artistry, and gameplay mastery.
