I didn't know I needed this game up until I played this game. A game which is so f***ing well designed that you WANT to do better every time. Not because you need to, but because you want to. And the soundtrack is an absolute banger which perfectly blends with the gameplay. The only downside of this game is the cringy dialogs, but it's actually so cringy that it circles back to being ironically funny. So in fact, there's no downside. 10/10 I fully recommend even if you're not a speedrunning junkie. If you are, and you haven't played this game, what are you doing?
I want to say on the record the story is insanely cringe and I hated it. I would die of embarrassment if someone watched a cut scene of this game and thought that was something I was into. But the game is saved by a huge PRESS F TO SKIP banner onscreen whenever one starts. Other than that, it's a real fun ~10hrs of fast-paced platforming. I think $25 is asking too much though.
