People love talking about game balance—tweaking numbers, adjusting synergies, blah blah blah. Nomad Survival couldn’t care less. It throws you into a pixelated hurricane of relics, skill spam, and glowing deathballs and says, “Hope you packed a raccoon.” Pick a class, grab a Heritage that either buffs you or ruins your life in a fun way, then proceed to spin, burn, slash, or curse your way through absurd enemy swarms. It’s less about strategy and more about stacking so many passives that your screen becomes a rave light show with health bars. You’ll unlock new characters, pets that steal your loot (helpfully), and enough achievements to turn you into a sleep-deprived archivist. The game doesn’t want to be balanced—it wants to be broken in the most entertaining way possible. I wholeheartedly recommend this game to all fans of other games in the genre. The only thing stopping it from being a perfect 10--no official modding support on Steam or anywhere to be found online (that I could see).

While not the best, this is easily one of the better Survivor style games. It gets a bit grindy and repetitive, could use more builds. The music is good though would have been a lot better if stages had multiple tracks. 30 minute runs with the same track looping -even if the track is good gets annoying.

Far nicer than their newer game, Shadowkin, at least. Horde-survival-wise? Not too many maps (only 4), but got enough weapons, skills, characters and their heritage backgrounds (modifying their gameplay). Any so-called "flaws"? No mutually exclusive choice of weapons or passives, no dashing, no banishes.

Faster gold gain, cleaning the UI and reduction of the game's price by about 30% and this would have taken off back in the day. Good game, but no comparison to Vampire Survivors for example.
