If you like Brotato, you'll like this too. In fact, this is arguably more polished than Brotato. Gameplay loop is essentially identical, with you choosing a character, starting weapon, and difficulty. You fight waves of increasingly harder enemies, with shops full of weapons and passives between each wave. The characters are where this game really shine. No shade intended, Brotato's characters look way too similar. Every one of them is a potato wearing different gear. Noobs Are Coming though has a unique model for every character. Now, one thing cool that Brotato does is change the way your character looks with each new passive. Unfortunately, this game doesn't have that. That said, the unique models make up for it. The music is decent, the enemies are fun, and I genuinely enjoy the runs to unlock new stuff. Brotato got a bit monotonous with the grind for unlocks. This feels more varied, with different bosses and enemy behavior keeping things interesting. All-in-all, very solid game, and absolutely contends with others in the genre. With content updates hopefully in the future, I can see myself coming back to this one for quite some time.

I beat the game at highest difficulty on every boss. If you're the player who gets back up after a loss, and you're the meticulous player who likes figuring out strategies, this is absolutely your game.

Brotato-like but with unique twists. Had a lot of fun playing coop with a friend. Hoping for improvement and new content! Feedback for dev: 1. Biggest issues is that enemy projectile is hard to distinguish from character's. Enemies shoot red orb and red arrows, but some of weapons also shoot pinkish/redish projectiles, and the souls lying on the ground is also of similar color. Makes seeing everything hard. 2. Similarly, minions are hard to distinguish from noobs when there are a lot going on on the map. Brotato solves these issues with color: enemies are purple, pickups are greenish, enemy projectiles are red. Very clear. 3. The animation of picking up a soul (it's being pushed away and then absorbed) is kinda distracting. 4. Character health bar should disappear when at full health. 5. Mom's babies could get stuck outside of the walkable area. 6. In coop, when one player is at the top of the map while the other is not, camera doesn't zoom out enough to see area near the player at top. On deck: 1. It plays fine, but font is too small.

It feels like spin-off sequel to Brotato with plenty of fun little ideas to distinct itself from other roguelike survivors. Also very cute and colorful presentation with a funny take on MMORPG themes. Soundtrack is pretty good too. Game is fun, looks great, sounds good and is cheaper than a sandwich. If you enjoy roguelike survivors just give it a go 👍

This game is great. Still a little unpolished, but I have faith the developer will fix it up and the base game is already very fun. If you like Brotato you should buy this game right now. If you don't have Brotato you should buy the bundle with this and Brotato. They are imo the best vampire survivorlike games on Steam, especially with local co op.
