This game is a blast. Devs are very clearly first gen Armored Core fans, and I'm here for it. Fun gameplay, great music, and I really love that you can hear a disc drive sound in the loading screens. Highly recommend.

This game makes me feel like it's a Friday night in 1997 and 12 year old me picked this off the shelf from Blockbuster because the cover looked cool only to be hooked all weekend. Highly addictive and challenging in the right ways. A lot of games these days go for PSX retro vibes but this one hits it in all the right areas with endless replay value. Worth every penny tbh.

It feels like one of those holy grail bargain bin games you used to be able to find in the now-extinct media sections of grocery stores which you'd pick up as a compromise for that really cool adult rated game you actually wanted or rather something more affordable at the time. The music slaps, the graphical design is FIRE and the HUD is crazy reminiscent of PS1-era games, font and all. I cannot recommend just dropping the small amount that this game costs for probably one of the best games you'll end up playing this quarter.
