The most unique golf game I've played. You'll get your 10 bucks worth. Funny at times, and super engaging gameplay that you'll get addicted to. It's the most realistic golf game in terms of, you hit a great shot, then duff a chip, end up 3 putting, and taking a 6 on a par 3. With that, it's incredibly rewarding in a way that PGA 2K25 can never be.
man i'm bummed about this one. the gameplay is SOOOO good, absolutely love everything involved with the golf part of the game. the part i'm bummed about is that the "intended" experience of the game putting you behind a bunch of "not playing golf" challenges. i don't wanna hit signs, i don't wanna find some mystery gong you hid somewhere. i just wanna play golf with weird controls. i did a round of 9 which was amazingly fun but it's only 9 holes.. if i wanna just play golf, i only have 9 holes available to me. still leaving a positive review because i ain't trying to drag the score down but the gimmicks were not what i wanted from this.
I don't play golf in real life. I do have 200 hours in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007, it's addicting. This is the golfing game I've been waiting for. Sort of. I'm yet to delve deep into the insanity, but the first, and most important question can already be answered: Is it satisfying to hit the ball in this game? Yes, it is. And the moment I saw the badly chromakeyed player animations, I knew this game was right for me.
