Overall, this is a fantastic game. I do however, have a few gripes. First, the "Kill it with Fire" achievement doesn't seem to count flamethrower kills against the Crawlers in Eternity Endless mode. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, but it makes getting that achievement incredibly annoying. Second, in the Eternity Endless mode the weapons displayed in the shops don't match their descriptions (the descriptions reflect the true weapon). Third, in the Eternity Endless mode the cost of an item in the shop is sometimes determined by the cost of the item that replaces the item you purchased, which occasionally results in paying more for something than you would otherwise and can actually result in negative quantities of the shop currency. Fourth, the game tends to crash during the Eternity Endless mode due to all the effects happening on the screen once you've maxed out all the possible perks (Which should happen around level 150). The only real way to stop this is to be very judicial with your firing so as to trigger fewer effects (made it all the way to level 250 before crashing using this method). So, that kinda sucks for those of us who might like to see exactly how far we could make in Eternity Endless mode (I was hoping to reach level 1,000). Now, while I'm not going to go into the merits of this game, don't take that to mean that there aren't any. On the contrary, in my opinion, everything about the game is perfect, except for the few things I mentioned above.

This is probably my favourite cheap game I picked up. It's engaging, fast paced, just enough depth for minor strategy. Personally I love the 360 2D platforming element, but my friend found it nauseating so be warned. I read a lot of the negative reviews. a lot focused around hit boxes which personally I've had no problem with. I think they're not seeing the small upward attack animations, some enemies do attack straight up which may cause confusion if you get hit while stomping. Also I seen a lot of people complain about enemy health being to much. This game is designed to play over and over. as you do you get much stronger. The game starts out tactical, play smart. survive as long as possible, collect upgrades, die restart. As you grow it becomes more and more fast paced, you become strong and easily kill enemies. Then it becomes a race to finish with getting hit as little as possible. There's also an overcharge mode to make it more difficult once your're strong. Anyways, great game, you'll probably have fun!

Decent roguelike with the gimmick being that you travel along the edges of a cylinder instead of a flat plane. Starts off very slow, but after around two hours starts to pick up. Lots of weapon variety and decent skill variety. Grab it on a good sale if you like roguelikes.

Unexpectedly Amazing!!! I got this game on a super sale thinking that if I didn't like it its pennies on the dollar. However, I am super satisfied with this game, just the idea that they didn't need a whole lot to make an amazing and entertaining game while having fun and enjoy it. The game is very simplistic, the fact that they're are platforms within the game where you have to clear enemies out on each level to progress to the next while leveling your abilities and grabbing newer weapons and unlocks along the way. What really grabs my attention is that even though the character and the enemies that you are fighting are 8-bit, they make it super visually appealing, incorporating the environment as well polished around it. Now a visually appealing game does not make a game "good" per-say however there is a lot of dopamine release in this to make you want to keep playing to "get to the next level". In my opinion, this game is a definitely worth the buy, however on that note. I don't think that its worth the full amount, of what they are asking for at full amount. Just for the fact its almost "indie" game like in terms of actual differential game play. In addition, the shelf life that this game has been out for, this is something of a MUST buy on sale. If you missed it and still want to keep an eye out for it until the next one, put this on the Wish-list. GREAT JOB DEVELOPERS, SUPER IMPRESSED!

Simple, innovative, and really fun. This quickly became my go-to game for "I've got 15 minutes before I gotta go somewhere".
