This game has no business being this addictive! Picked it up on sale for under $2 and it hasn't disappointed. Just challenging enough for a non-sweaty gamer who doesn't like games to be too crazy difficult, but still a nice one to just chill and grind on. The graphics are really fun, the music is groovy without getting old too quick, the level design being randomly generated in a fresh and unique way every time is a huge plus as well. The level-up system makes it very rewarding as well, it adds to making the gameplay loop as addictive as it is. I haven't put 8 hours into a game in a very long time, and this game just sucks up time so quickly. Definitely recommend, especially when it goes on sale!
i used to play this game whenever i'm bored, bought it at 90% discount. I really like how this game include pixel graphics, chaos, and shooting at one game. And the idea of putting 360 degree field make this game harder each higher stage you reach, like how the rocket launcher you shoot miss and rotate the whole field then you ended get hit by that rocket. But i need to be honest, in some maps, the enemies (except bosses) or obstacles have similar color with its map color tone, which is make them almost unseen and they are technically camouflage. I didn't know whether this was one of the features how the developers make this game more difficult or not, i recommend to maybe add an enemy indicator a bit so the enemies are quite visible. And it would be amazing if they add the multiplayer mode.
