This game is genuinely scary for 15 minutes, they you realize how easy it is to sneak past the monster, and thanks to the dozens of hiding spots under the shelves, even getting detected carries little risk other than losing time. You also have an overly attached cat, whom you can't leave for too long, thus placing a time contraint on you. This makes the first 2 days really tough, but after that the game becomes very easy. Once you unlock the final warehouse the game turns into a boring grind for the tropies with 0 difficulty. It took 4.5h to beat the game and get most achievements and 8.5h to 100%. The monster's walking is poorly animated, there's some sliding and the feet clip into the floor. The footsteps are overly loud, making it sound like it's way closer than it actually is and it's not even in sync with the animation (the sound comes too early). The sound direction is also broken, you hear the monster at 90° (directly left or right), then you turn the camera only to realize the monster is just barely 30° to the side. This is a common issue even in AAA games, because they forget to apply perspective (fov) based correction to the sound direction. Also, sometimes the monster will randomly walk toward you without seeing you, which is a bit annoying. The most annoying part of this game is the monster frequently warping around the map and it tends to spawn in areas you have to go. This becomes even more frustrating when you're rushing for the 6 day achievement. Overall, it's worth playing for the low price but the concept had way more potential (better mosnter AI, more monsters, more game mechanics, coop? etc.)

You have a pet cat. GOTY, instantly. In all seriousness though, this game feels like what it must be like to work for Amazon. Running from Jeff Bezos while trying to ship enough packages to keep your cat overlord happy with new toys, beds and food. A very satisfying game with plenty of stained pants moments and an attempt at a story. I’d still like to know how we ended up working there and if it’s just us (and evil Bezos, ofc). The game could do with being a little clearer on how you’re supposed to deal with the monsters. I ended up playing through with no monsters on my first playthrough, monsters but no cat happiness level on my second playthrough, and default on my final playthrough. It’s also a little unclear how you progress to other levels and where these levels are. Luckily there are guides, which certainly helped me out. I do appreciate the customisation options for gameplay that the dev added fairly recently I think. It made my first playthrough much more enjoyable and incentivised me to play through again and again. Pros - Satisfying gameplay mechanics - Really feels like what it must be like to work for Amazon - Gameplay customisation options are a nice touch - Plenty of replayability Cons - The tutorial doesn’t really tell you a lot and I was confused for quite some time before reading a guide that helped me out. Some clearer instructions on how to deal with the monsters, keep your cat happy and fulfil your quota would be appreciated. - Not much of a storyline Overall Rating: 8/10

Short little horror game with a satisfying game loop. If you like jump scares and an eerie athmosphere for a fair price, this game won't disappoint you.

Never a dull moment in this game. The scares are minimal and repetitive but something about walking through a warehouse obtaining items is peaceful and fun. The upgrades that allow you to hold more items, scan items (for memory purposes), and increase your time exploring (and making for a cozier home for your cat) are just enough to make each feel worthwhile and provided that needed adrenaline rush to keep you going. Exploring the basement levels, especially the water level add enough diversity and extend the games shelf life. Everything feels right with the game, my only complaint is that the scare does lose its juice after awhile and the ending is lackluster but still an overall fun time. Still unsure? 7/10 | Great fun! | Cat | Good value for money! Order 13 is a very simplistic game ultimately! It simply requires you to do your job which is merely collecting an item from the stocked shelves, packaging it and sending it off correctly. However ALL that seems normal is not. Expect jumpscares, chase sequences AND plenty more spoops out there all whilst you try to keep your cat in a positive state & maintain their happiness and sanity as well as yours, technically! The main reason I won't give this game above a 7 (currently) is sadly due to two main reasons. No real ending/story as far as I could tell? It's just a repetitive looped cycle which is fine but it does get a little tedious/boring eventually (sadly) AND sadly the "horrors" can become quite numbing after repeating them multiple times over and over. Ultimately I do absolutely recommend this game but NOT for 10's of hours. Sit down, play it for one evening, enjoy it.
