Fellow cozy gamers, listen up - this might be the game we've all been waiting for [*]The visuals? Absolutely beautiful! [*]The music? Cozy af! [*]The gameplay? A little repetitive & very educational ! Instead of the usual farming-and-fishing loop, the gameplay focuses on foraging across different biomes, cooking together with lovely townspeople and helping to bring life back to a town that was devastated by a storm. One thing I really appreciate: you learn a lot about plants along the way, which might even spark an interest in real-life foraging. Just remember: "When in doubt, leave it out!" After a few hours, progression starts to feel a little slow for my personal taste - but it's still enjoyable and veeery relaxing. To complete all quests (in this early access version of the game) took me around 30 hours . Overall, this game has a lot of heart and I'm genuinely excited to see where it goes in the future!

I really like the foundation for this game. Very informative about different plants, educational, cutesy characters, and lots of foraging! Although, way too many fetch quests that left me feeling a little bored and left the gameplay feeling repetitive and bland. Ill check the game back out after its no longer in Early Access and update my review since i do have high hopes for this game.

I love this game so far. After thousands of hours playing cozy games, this is the first time I have written a review. I want people to know how amazing this game is, and if I convince just one person to give it a go, then I am happy I put in the effort. First, it is super important to remember that this is early access. There are glitches, but I am so impressed with how polished the game feels already. You have to know what you are getting into in order to get everything out of the game that you can. This is truly a cozy game in which time stands still. This game can't (and shouldn't) be rushed. If you are looking for something fast-paced that you can speed run, this game isn't for you. Time progresses when you sort your inventory. Some people do not like that, but I appreciate that it gives me control over when time progresses. I can explore to my heart's content before moving on. I should also note that you really can't hoard resources in this game. You can't stockpile stuff for use over time. Things don't decay immediately, but they do decay. I am one of the players that usually keeps everything, but that goes against the core values of this game - treating the environment well and not taking more than you need. It can be frustrating at times, but I adapted. The environment is incredible and truly immersive. The further along you get in the game, the more amazing it becomes. Take the opportunity to forest bathe to really take in the scenery. My jaw dropped so many times. This is a very open world with lots to discover over time. I love the story, and I find myself laughing out loud at the dialogue often. There is so much to discover about each character. Read the community chat in Our Porto every day! I missed a few days here and there and really wish I hadn't! The chat isn't necessary to be successful in quests, and you won't miss anything super important, but some of the funniest interactions happen there. The game is a bit of a slow start, but I think that is intentional. I am so glad I kept going. I played the demo, and I was very on the fence after it. The game has delivered so much more than I expected based on the demo alone. I can't wait for more of it to be developed. There is still much more to come, and I am so excited!

It's a ton of fetch quests with a story behind it. I'm all for it too as I love everything plants in this game and in real life. One of the first plants you identify is literally growing in my flower beds AND it's safe to eat! Talk about new info for me. It also uses a lot of well known common names for the plants which make recipes easier to look up. Speaking of recipes: This game comes with a companion site that has REAL FOOD RECIPES for what you forage in the wild! It does have a nice disclaimer about foraging and being safe too.

I played the demo before release, and now I’ve just reached the second area in the full game, which I believe covers most of its core mechanics so far. The onboarding is excellent: instead of overwhelming you with tons of text and markers, it guides you through intuitive, interactive exploration. You’ll learn to identify and gather plants, then use them to cook various foods. For an Early Access version, the level of polish is incredibly high! It also runs smoothly with controller mode on a handheld PC (I'm using ROG Ally). The developer’s attention to detail is visible in literally every corner of the game. (Even back in the demo, I was amazed by the character’s running animations) Each character is distinctive and expressive, the details and decorations in the world feel thoughtfully placed. The entire environment feels alive. And the music is fantastic! The core mechanics revolves around gathering and cooking. I especially love the genius decision to present most plants in pairs, you can’t just grab something because it “looks right.” You need to approach it like a real botanist: carefully reading the in-game encyclopedia, checking leaf shape, color, flower type, and other authentic traits before making your choice. The developers aren’t just making a game, they genuinely want to teach us how to identify plants. The encyclopedia itself is impressively detailed, clearly marking each plant’s traits, edibility, and even listing its name in dozens of languages. It’s essentially a usable botanical reference. I just discovered that all the recipes in the game are real! The team even created a dedicated website that collects them all, complete with step-by-step instructions. Overall, for an Early Access release, the completeness and level of polish are far beyond many finished games. I’m excited to see how it will grow in the future.
