Love this game so far i didnt beat it yet but yea im having fun. The game is only 500mb but feels like it should be like a 3gb game which is awesome and it runs well. 3rd boss is kinda giving me a run for my money but i like that (i will say going from common enemies to bosses in difficulty is night and day but that makes sense). The skill tree is very well animated. the progression system is rewarding too and fun to see it all come together. (not a fan of some of the ai translation but its understandable) the main character is adorable and also badass. i like that the enemies have their own death/dead animations instead of just turning into meat or skeleton or something (i always hated that for some reason) but yea very worth the money and more is still being added it seems.

Been holding off on this game because I don't typically want to jump into EA games but the itch for a good action roguelite was too strong. That said, I'm glad I did as what's currently there is very solid from a gameplay perspective. Very excited where the road to 1.0 leads. + Power Ramp-up. Each run does a great job of giving that power ramp-up fantasy (start basic, by the end you're doing multiple combos and stringing energy management etc) + The combat feels great. Every hit feels good and stringing moves together between hits/dashing feels very responsive. + Story tie-in is done well so far. Bits and pieces of the story are gathered through the natural progression of the game, it's a nice simple way to mix story into the gameplay loop. + Works flawlessly on Steam Deck + Haven't experienced any bugs in my time so far + Music is great - Tutorials could be improved. After a few runs, started understanding how things worked/what some things meant, but think the tutorials could be improved for the player to understand sooner. - Enemy attack tells in specific cases. This is only an issue when there's an extreme amount of enemies on screen since you can't see the indicators between all the explosions/effects/skills/enemies themselves. - Boss variety. Minibosses have a decent variety, but actual world bosses seem to be the same from run to run. Would be nice to have 2-3 more boss options at the end of each world just to mix it up.
