I have to preface this review by mentioning something really important to those looking to buy this: this is (as of right now), not much of a game. That isn't to say it's bad by any means! But, before buying this, understand that the character movement is very slow and might frustrate you and make you feel like completing the game is a chore. That being said, the art in this in incredible! I have never seen a game made entirely out of paper. Please check out the behind-the-scenes video linked below to understand just how much time was put into this project! The story is also a little rough around the edges. It's a very simple game, super short (beaten in less than 1.5 hours), and gorgeous. If you don't mind a slow-paced game and are looking more for the art of the game, definitely pick this up! But, again, it is slow. I do wish the developer would increase it at least a little bit. And, if you don't know if you'll like the game, play the demo! It's probably the shortest demo I've ever played, but you get the general idea of the game. Also, it's one of the very few games recently I've seen that has an included demo. So, props there! In conclusion, please check this out! And, if you're a real enthusiast, the artbook has some really cool behind-the-scenes and the soundtrack is both .mp3 and .flac, which is not something I've seen very often, so again, props! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRQCKOwOMtQ

This was such a beautiful experience and I'm happy I gave it a try! The art was incredible and to think that it was made entirely out of paper makes me love it even more because I can tell that the devs put their heart and soul into this. It's cute and charming, funny at times but also had a level of emotional depth for such a short game. The music was also perfect. The one thing that I found frustrating was that it was unclear at times what you were meant to do to progress (thank god for walkthroughs), but nonetheless I had a great time with it. This game is nothing short of art and I hope to see more coming from this team in the future

Papetura is a really short but freaking gorgeous game! All of the art assets are handcrafted from paper and has a really unique feel to it. It's a very responsive point-and-click game with a ton of charm and I can't recommend it nearly enough!

Si vous êtes un être fait de papier, vivant dans un univers fait de papier, qu'est-ce qui est le plus dangereux: l'eau ou le feu ? Ce jeu point and click répond à cette question existentielle de façon esthétique, me rappelant beaucoup les univers surréalistes d'Amanita Design comme Samorost. Sans texte, avec des décors saisissants et une histoire simple de style conte de fée, il nous transporte brièvement dans sa logique interne. Très beau jeu donc, et je le recommande, mais aussi très (trop) bref, j'attendrais un bon spécial, car quand même il est fini en moins de deux heures.
