Own all the card expansions and version 2 that sadly died as soon as it was released. Fun game building decks, sadly became expensive once it came to steam as before you could unlike things thru playing. Still a very fun game to play.

A cautious 'yes'. Its a decent and faithful adaption of the physical game (that I own and had a lot of fun with back when I bought it). Have not yet seen any bugs. However, part of the fun of the physical game was all the careful logging and managing the physical aspects, which is something that appeals to old schoolers like me. Digital, all that gets taken away and it feels like there is rather less to it. I see some people complaining about the stash not being big enough. The physical game had no stash at all. And you didnt get to 'buy' extra gear between episodes. This was all part and parcel of the way the mechanics of the game were set up and the challenge of it (which influence the strategy). Adding these elements actually dumbs the game down somewhat, removes a key element of how you had to be aware of card management (in the long term) affected future outcomes. I'll likely dip into the game from time to time out of nostalgia, but I would probably enjoy going back and playing a physical campaign more if I had the time.

Had baldur gate1&2 and neverwinter nights game in my library for a long time and didnt enjoy the games. I just realized it happend because I dont know about D&D rules. This game teach me basic D&D rules, now I have a blast playing neverwinter nights.

Absolutely loved this game! Especially since you get a free copy for your apple and google accounts. (And they sync!) So not only did it save me hours of setup to play the card game, it allowed me to play anywhere I went and they'd sync up!(can play offline too) Of note, if you love this game and want the DLC then shop across all of the platforms as some have uber-discounted amounts. Once you get it, then it syncs across accounts again.
