A truly inventive game that respects the player's intelligence! :) You'll face puzzles that seem impossible to solve and something will suddenly click and you'll have a eureka moment. This game will break your brain. Very challenging, very original, very fun. A modern classic.

It's a decent game, but it should have had half as many puzzles. No, a third as many. 364 puzzles is too many for its own good. I really hate to say it, because it's a great concept executed pretty well, but this game has way too many filler puzzles. Like, way too many. There are redundant tutorial puzzles, puzzles that are way too similar to the puzzle you just solved, and puzzles that will make you feel like you aren't even playing the game you signed up for anymore. I'm sure it will make it more palatable to an average player, but if you're going into it expecting it to be the next Stephen's Sausage Roll you'll be fairly disappointed, at least for the first few hours. A lot of the puzzles made me feel like the game was totally squandering its potential and wasting my time. The best way I can describe it is that Patrick's Parabox feels like if Baba Is You decided to use the fact that it was turing complete to make crappy Rush Hour puzzles (once you start seeing puzzles with the wrapping grids of pushable blocks, you'll know what I mean). The late game puzzles (after you've technically beaten the game) are actually pretty good though, so it's a shame then that it couldn't just cut the crap and get to the good stuff.

The "must-play" puzzle game. A perfect example of excellent design and implementation. The game sometimes breaks your brain, and it's absolutely worth it.

Patrick's Parabox is what I wanted Baba Is You to be. Puzzles based on very simple core gameplay (move on a 2D grid with the arrow keys, push boxes onto targets) that quickly escalates into absolutely insane mind screws by adding simple rules (boxes can go into other boxes, YOU can go into other boxes, a box can contain itself, you ARE the box) and even into meta-puzzles. During all of this, Patrick's Parabox is much less overdesigned than Baba, and much easier to understand. By this I do not mean that the puzzles are easier, I mean that you can leave the game alone for a month, come back, and after two minutes you will remember all the rules and mechanics. A brilliantly designed puzzle game with no downsides, this is worth every penny in my opinion,

Probably the best soko-ban puzzle game I've played after Baba is You. Unique core idea and continues to build on its mechanics. Delivers difficulty by twisting your mind rather than overloading it with complexity. Well worth the price.
