PEAK Another not-so-unexpected hit among simple, straightforward indie games. The game is very fun and can be completed in a couple of hours, but each playthrough unlocks a new level of difficulty (you earn cosmetics for completing runs), so there’s definitely some replayability. The map is procedurally generated at a set time and features five biomes. The first is a beach (the starting area, the easiest, and full of food). Then come the jungles (with rain, spiky vines, and many poisonous plants). After that is the snowy biome (where, after a short time, a blizzard starts blowing from all sides, draining your stamina unless you find shelter). Then there's the pre-final zone, lava mountains, and finally you need to climb out of the volcano crater, which is almost a vertical ascent. Along the way you can find various types of food and helpful items, usually from local loot boxes (suitcases), that assist in tough climbing situations. That’s basically the core gameplay loop. I should mention we played with a mod that allows a larger lobby. The base game has a 4-player limit, but we played with up to 10 people, and it was surprisingly fun with minimal impact on game balance. Unlike Lethal Company, where more players significantly change and often simplify the experience. It’s nice to see Steam continuing to bring out games like this. I wish there were more of them.

Peak is a great game honestly, Climb a mountain together with your friends and get multiple items during this adventure, its really funny if for example someone falls down and in proximity voicechat you hear how his voice gets more silent and silent while falling :D Get this game, for this price, this game is basically a gift!
