Persona 5 Royal, the Game that stole my heart When I started the game on December 2024, I wasn't really familiar with how ATLUS Games work and I was really overwhelmed of how the game works, there was so much to do and as a perfectionist, I always wanted to do the right thing which made me not know how to play the game correctly. That unfortunately, made me stop playing the game for a while for multiple times and start other games, and also not to forget I started on a hard difficulty and I had a tough time against the first Palace Boss, which led me to quit the game for a while. Thankfully I had a lot of people who taught me how to play the game correctly, and that is where the fun started. I would like to thank @Ardelle @liliphobic and especially @Zaferius since he taught me most of the stuff! I have finished the game a couple days ago and I already started a NG+ for the love of Story and the characters, to get 100% achievements and also playing on a harder difficulty for a challenging experience, literally a 11/10 experience, especially since I haven't been spoiled on the Story (rare case to be honest). The Story it's about High schoolers that have difficulties in life because of Adults, either because of their impact or what they personally did to them, so the High schoolers Rebell against that and fight, for a better future and a better world. It's a Story about fighting the broken evil World, also finding about their true selves, heal from the past and getting to know real friends with true friendships. Royal added so many details about it than the original game, especially the 3rd Semester with the perfect Villain. His Story was so very different than the others and the fight was also different, which made it interesting, VERY INTERESTING. The Characters Fabulous, Elegant, Magnificent, a Masterpiece. I played a lot of games with great casts, but there is always that one or 2 that I disliked or hated. But in the case of Persona 5, there is no such thing. I LOVED EVERYBODY HERE! The more you get to know a character, doesn't matter if you spend time with them to strengthen your bonds with them or get further in the Story, they all get likeable at a time, to be honest I liked everyone from the start and I starting to love them after a while in the game. Spending time with them is a great option to get to know the characters better, also their stories since it gets to the direction of what they want to become in the Future. Their stories are serious, emotional, funny, and wholesome. Literally the whole package. Also not to forget the romance, absolute cinema. Literally with every girl you try to romance it's so well made, sensational! What I really wish is that when you get into a relationship with someone, it gets Canon in the game. Like the whole group acknowledge it and not just say "we are just friends" although they are more than that. Please ATLUS make that happen in the future projects! I also want to mention Makoto Niijima is best girl <3 The Music The Music, wether it's when you are walking around, fight Mobs, get ambushed, emotional, having romantic scenes or fighting Bosses, it got me feeling like Christian Bale in American Psycho when he was listening to music. A MASTERPIECE, LITERALLY. Especially the Jazz, you literally feel your soul going out of your body. I have a lot of favorite Songs but the ones I really really liked are "Take Over" and "I believe" by Lyn, I am having quite a good run listening to the whole Persona 5 Album :) The Gameplay Personally, I never played turn based games beside of Baldurs Gate 3 and Honkai Star Rail and they are both different than Persona. I admit I had a lot of struggles at first, it's not that it's hard but I definitely had to get used to it, like the weakness and the strength of the enemy I had to learn it for a while but its easy to understand and when I actually understood it, the fights got more fun (as it should). I am not really a fan of turn based games, but ATLUS changed my mindset on this, I am actually loving it now and I can see myself play more turn based games in the future because of Persona 5. The fights got even so addicting, I started unnecessary fights too and also because of the music! The World building and Design I like the fact that no matter where you go, it wasn't just empty places with few NPC's, there were actually a lot of them and even with some that you can interact with and get useful information of. Design of the cities, buildings, Mementos and even Palaces are perfectly designed, ATLUS made it with their blood and sweat, they used their budget well on them. What I really liked most was the Palaces had identical design as their true self, literally chef kiss. Thank you for reading! I really hope this will be a helpful Review to Gamers who have no idea about Persona 5 Royal and it awaken their interest, one of the best, IF not the best Experience I had in Games. When I do reviews, it's about my favorite Games, and since it's that long, it sure can tell about how much I love this game :) I wish everyone a Happy new Year, may it be a great and a blessed 2026 for all of us!!! 🥂

Persona is the kind of game you don’t want to end. You truly get attached to the characters, immerse yourself in the atmosphere and the world and saying farewell is difficult Persona 5 Royal is an amazing experience. It gave me the same emotions I felt when playing Persona 4 Golden. I am completely satisfied, yet I honestly wish I could stay in this world just a little longer

This game changed my life. I played it when I was at my lowest. I felt hopeless. Then, I played this game. The characters, the world, the message, the feeling of self-discovery while pursuing happiness for those you love; all of these inspired the person I am today. I am not perfect obviously, but I am proud of who I am. That is something I never would have been able to say if not for Persona 5 Royal. There is one quote from this game that has become a personal mantra of mine. "Your existence in this world is an amazing miracle. You deserve to spend your days in happiness." This quote has kept me going for years now. I pray that someone else who may feel hopeless right now may play this game and have the same experience I had.

Im gonna be honest. When I played this game I was at a really low point. I felt like I couldn't connect with the people around me, I felt like I was alone, ugly, unlovable, etc. This game helped with that... Like... A LOT. It's not even a stretch to say that I owe my current self to this game, and potentially a lot more. As pathetic as it sounds this game helped me feel understood. It felt good to be with the phantom thieves, and helped me understand what a good friends feel like. Eventually I found friends of my own. Thanks to this game I felt motivated to do better. Be better. So thanks persona 5.

My Early Hours review of – Persona 5 Royal - Went to school. - Got framed for assault. - Entered another dimension. - Cat told me to commit crimes. - Now I fight monsters with the power of friendship and teenage rage. - Also I’m failing math just like in real life. I don’t know what’s happening and where the game is going but it’s stylish as hell and I can hear jazz music in my blood. Send help—or don’t. I’m too busy stealing hearts. 10/10 chaos. Would persona again.
