If you're the kind of gamer who: - Likes the co-op chaos of Overcooked, but prefers a touch of rogue-like upgrading and progression - Needs multiple different avenues to run your kitchen, with dozens of options for foods, tools, furniture, and appliances - Also enjoys a little spice added with different locations, layouts and sometimes seasonal themed kitchens - Wants to turn into a crane And can deal with: - At times feeling like you are either nearly getting to customers before they're fed up, or you literally are so secure you barely need the fourth person - Games feeling like they take a little longer then they need to at times, getting to overtime days can be a multiple hour challenge Then you'll be serving cats steak in no time. A popular game night choice among the gamers, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for the classic chef-together experience made a little bit more challenging then just stand-alone mini games. Plate up has you making choices - do we want to add an extra dish that will require us to get a new ingredient and change up our strategy, or should we just not be able to see what our customers order? And you can upgrade most of the tools you find to buy at the end of every day. You will slowly evolve your kitchen into a conveyor belt sushi place. It is the most efficient evolution, the ultimate eatery. Good luck getting there.

If you think this game looks like Overcooked you are only half right. Where in Overcooked the kitchen gets harder to deal with (ie: moving stations, earthquakes, ice flows) PlateUp! can actually get easier. This is because in PlateUp! you can unlock automation. Late game kitchens can run themselves if you play your cards right. Overcooked made me want to strangle the other players, but in PlateUp! you can customize the restaurant so you don't step on each others toes.

I love it, but all my friends get too stressed and would rather 100% Elden Ring or beat V Rising on brutal difficulty than play this with me. 10/10 my friends can't handle the heat

Great game for having fun with friends. It's like Overcooked, but somehow less relationship-damaging.
