Space Dad Simulator ft. Diana (10/10 Would Protect) Capcom are on an absolute generational run right now. It’s refreshing to see a big publisher take a risk on a new single-player IP like Pragmata. The 20 min demo already sold me on the hacking/shooting gameplay. This will be my palette cleanse in-between my never ending playthrough of Persona 5 Royal. And what makes it even cooler is the fact that we’re literally in a time where humanity is preparing to return to the Moon with missions like Artemis II . Playing a game like this right now hits differently. That mix of isolation, exploration, and human curiosity doesn’t feel like distant sci-fi anymore, it feels like a near-future we’re actively stepping into. I went in expecting a curious little moon-roaming companion. I did not expect her to completely hijack my emotions. Diana is the heart of this game. Everything works because of her. The way she rides on Hugh Williams’ back, assists with hacking mid-combat, and slowly learns about humanity… it’s ridiculously wholesome. Every interaction builds this quiet, emotional bond. The small moments hit the hardest, her questions, her reactions, the little things you bring back for her from Earth. And yeah… she’s adorable. Not in an over-the-top, annoying way. It’s more subtle. Slightly awkward. Slightly eerie. Very “android trying to understand feelings” energy, which somehow makes it even better. I usually find kid characters in games exhausting. But Diana? Nope. MUST. PROTECT. AT. ALL. COSTS. Gameplay-wise, the hacking + combat system stays consistently fresh. It feels like solving a chaotic puzzle in the middle of a fight, constantly juggling tools, enemies, and positioning. It’s flexible, engaging, and never really gets stale. The world design and progression feel smooth, and performance on PC is rock solid so far. At this point, I’m fully invested in where the story goes and how Diana carries it forward… and I already know this game is going to emotionally destroy me when it does. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3708519992 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3708509570 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3708372884

Most fun I've had in a AAA in forever. Game runs absolutely beautifully on Linux as well. Had one crash ~10 min in on Proton 9, but moving to Proton Experimental resolved that issue. Game runs on highest settings without any noticeable performance hit, though I haven't found a way to check exact fps. Onto the actual game, they have integrated a hacking system right ontop of the fps controller. You swap between managing hacking or aiming by holding alt, with the mouse providing input for both. This sounds inconvenient in theory, but holy crap it works well. Armor plating actually functions as armor, unlike many games. Best get good at hacking, if they aren't open don't bother shooting. Your main weapon is effectively a revolver, you have 6 shots before needing to recharge. Progression is linked to several different trees, between you and your weapons, Diana and her hacking, and the shelter with its expedition prep. Speaking of the shelter, it is the main place for collectibles to be displayed and show great progress throughout. Things change based on how you've done, and Diana reacts to it all. Now speaking of Diana, she is absolutely precious and you will love every single thing you find that she does. If the devs have her harmed in the story, then I am getting violent. This is all you need to know. Buy it, play it, enjoy it. This game is well worth full price, and I don't say that one lightly.

Really love this new IP it feels like Dad Simulator. And Diana doing kid stuff—like being annoying, scribbling on Hugh's suits or asking a lots of question really adds a lot to the game. The world is mysterious, the visuals are stunning. The bond between the characters adds a sweet heart to all the futuristic chaos.Strange, stylish and full of charm I hope this fun and chaos with Diana is till the end of the game and not make me cry - definitely a journey worth taking

So that's how it feels like to be Dad Space, diana is so cute and the gameplay is really cool it feels like i'm playing Vanquish. Capcom really hits the spot with this new IP it feels like i'm playing a Old Capcom game again, it gives that vibes of the Lost Planet (really underrated game), i'm looking forward to more games like this, this game is fantastic! i know it's cool to milk on Resident evil but Capcom, please expand the creativity like Pragmata, i know you guys have more cards on the table.
