Stop review bombing. This game is amazing for having one developer. If yall joined the discord, you would see that the developer is still actively working on it. He has been too busy to update the steam page. His goal is to update it by August.

i actually really enjoyed the ac130 missions in modern warfare so i was happy to find that this game took that concept and added realistic physics and plane/sensor controls and made a decent game out of it

Pretty barebones, scenarios with the Taliban are tricky due to civilians constantly getting into the line of fire and with Vietnam you just get an early gunship with not alot of cool features. Although, this game shows a lot of promise and I can't wait to see it expanded upon. Also, the memorial for the fallen AC-130 gunships and their crew is a heartwarming detail!

If you're here to play the Call of Duty fantasy, this is not it. It's better. It feels more realistic, albeit I can't judge that. Far more immersive. And for the price and the effort of one person and close friends etc, this is superb. Cannot wait for release. Destruction, better feedback on kills, maybe injuries, or effects on death. Imagine such minute points to improve. That means core gameplay is stellar Oh and maybe, just maybe, an "All out training mode" where you have unrealistically, all the guns, as if you're 5 AC-130s together. Just for fun!

TL,DR: Right now it's in dev and you can tell, but I'm enjoying it for what it is in this moment. Long, long ago I played the gunship mission in COD:MW and said, "This should be its own game." Project Gunship scratches that itch. The gameplay and interface go a step or two beyond the COD mission and the dev has delivered a respectable set of different aircraft and environments. The Viet Nam era looks and feels different from the OEF era. The missions are relatively simple, but fun and have tense moments. I have noticed the occasional AI bug that holds up mission progression but the gameplay fundamentally is what I wanted and I'm here for it.
