Gameplay tip:Don't feel bad for murdering anime-girl-faced creatures, they deserve death. Real world tip:During the times where Brazil was in a dictatorship backed by the USA, an intact american nuclear bomb was found in an unspecified region with no one in it, the fact however was quickly covered up with barely any mention of it today, instead being overshadowed by another incident involving nuclear waste spill on the city of Goiânia.

The moon is a government recording device. Every crater is a speaker. Listen closely; you can hear it whispering. All animals are secretly nocturnal. By daylight, they act out a prewritten script provided by their species. In 1983, a scientist created a mirror that doesn't reflect, but remembers. It holds every image it's ever seen. There's a hidden keyhole in every rainbow. Nobody knows what the key unlocks. Teeth are considered the body's most selfish organ. That's why they are the first to leave when things go bad. The oceans aren't water. They're liquid memory, leaking from the Earth since the first dream was forgotten. Every chair is designed to hold a secret conversation. Sitting is eavesdropping. Stars are scars left from when the sky was hurt by meteors. Their light is how they cry. Human shadows are not connected to their owners. They're tied to someone else far away, whom you’ll never meet. The sound of a train is the Earth taking a deep breath. The tracks are its nervous system. Every clock is alive. They just pretend to tick so humans don’t panic. Once a month, an airplane vanishes midair. It reappears exactly 20 years later, but only one passenger ever steps off. You are not the first person to wear your face. It has belonged to others, and it will belong to someone else after you. Maps are lies. There is one true country, but nobody remembers where it is anymore. Every human being emits a faint, unhearable song. When you die, the song becomes rain. Birds can understand human language, but they refuse to respond because they’ve heard what we think of them. Time doesn’t flow forward. It spirals. Your future self is already sitting behind you, watching. Every night, your bed relocates slightly. It always moves closer to something you can’t see. If you stare into the horizon long enough, it starts to blink back. There’s a library somewhere that contains books documenting every possible version of your life. The librarians have favorite copies. Windows are the eyes of your house. Every time you leave, it watches you go. In 1932, the last tree learned to scream. It stopped after the first human listened. If you peel an onion enough times, you’ll eventually find a note. Nobody knows who wrote them or what they mean. Clouds are memories of extinct creatures. Thunder is their laughter echoing back to us. The Queen of Dragonflies has been dreaming of your name.

Real World Tip: Making reviews that are literal garbage is a great idea! you'll have so many friends! you'll feel so creative for copying the same thing you've seen a million times! Don't believe their lies, it's truly hilarious! Peak comedy! Kinomaxxing! Now get out there and rehash worthless content! You'll feel so invigorated! I miss my wife! Make time for your loved ones while you still can!

I bought this game on a whim because I liked the crazy gal in all the promos, and it looked like a solid spooky game for the season. All of my expectations were exceeded, great music and audio, memorable and disturbing visuals, with plenty of secrets and lore to think about. Only mark against the game is that the actual gameplay asks for an amount of patience, lots of walking through levels looking for secrets. Gameplay Tip: Go into things blind! Stories are most fun when experienced yourself! Real World Tip: Crude oil is refined into gasoline via filters made of horse hair and sinew, hence the term horsepower.
