It was so much fun and very realistic, but I wish they'd added online gameplay. Please add online play so I can play with my friends.

Pure badminton I think is the closest/most accurate representation of playing this sport but digitally. I have tested other badminton games that try to replicate reality and whilst they had good ideas, they fell short every time due to inconsistencies with movement or shot quality. Listed below are what I consider the positives and negatives of this game: POSITIVE: - I think this game here has nailed placement and control of the shuttle well - I find it quite enjoyable to smash in this game as the sound and impact has weight to it. - I enjoy the attention to detail in how our bodies move and contort to play a shot depending on where we are and where the shuttle is landing and what shot we choose (mimics reality quite well). - I appreciate the fact that you have customizability in the pace of the game (shuttle speed) and how you can also adjust control to be entirely manual so the player can fully dictate where they want to place their shot. NEGATIVES/AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT: - The movement is sooo wonky, sometimes I get a burst of pace because the animation kicks in where my character starts finally hop stepping properly or taking longer strides and other times, they just scuttle to the position slowly and quite janky. - I think the backhand animations are quite slow and can be exploited easily as the player vs CPU and even the CPU vs the player, this ties into my first point about the jankiness but this needs serious work. - Career mode is sufficient but can do with some more features - so far I can see there has been some inspiration from FIFA career mode but with even less emphasis on how our player progresses. > HOW TO IMPROVE CAREER MODE: >> Add a "Benefits of Training" meter on the side which shows exactly which of your stats improve and by how much depending on your performance in that training (Bronze, Silver, Gold). I think this would help weigh up when I should train and the cost of not doing that vs playing in a tournament because that way I can allocate my time better to make my player better. >> Same thing as above but add one for tournaments and give better rewards after you win a tournament depending on the difficulty/quality of the players in that tournament - if I play & win in a Super 1000 tournament I shouldn't be getting less skill progression than if I were to just do training drills that is absurd. >> Maybe take inspiration from FIFA and add 'Traits' that people can develop like, if someones play style is drop shot heavy then perhaps make a trait which benefits that play style so that maybe their drop shots are like 20% more accurate or 30% more faster than other shots. >> Introduce a rival system in the game where you have a player you want to beat and if you win you gain extra skill progression or if you lose you gain less XP for the rest of the tournament you're in or something. >> Perhaps add a racquet customizer because I think badminton fans would really love making a racquet thats unique to their character and works differently than other players in the game - like you can adjust string tension and see how that affects gameplay and the weight of the racquet too (which can affect stamina and fatigue because heavier racquets will have more load on the shoulder etc.) >>> Perhaps could add a shop where players can buy racquets with money they earn from tournaments (money can be a supplementary award system for tournament wins?) But overall, I want to say that this is a joy to play but it has ways to go to become a great competitor to other sports games and if done right, I genuinely think could: 1) Be a breakthrough in sports gaming. 2) Win GOTY this year if creative additions are added in as I, and others have suggested in the reviews.

Enjoyed the game. perhaps not the best fluid game you have because of the character movement, but so far the best badminton game you can play in the current market. Things i would like to see in the future (besides what i've read in review section: - BWF sponsoring this game as its official license game - real players name - racquet specification which you can choose your tension, balanced on so on

I bought the game on day one, and it’s definitely worth the money. However, it doesn’t have an online multiplayer mode, which is truly a pity. I’d be more than willing to pay extra to have this feature.

Genuinely a solid badminton game. Probably like the developer, I searched for the definitive badminton game and tested a bunch of random games online and on mobile. I ended up developing my own badminton game. However, I can say with certainty that this game is the _best_ badminton game on the market that I've ever played. Massive props. The movement is a bit wonky and gets some getting used to, however.
