best way to learn and avoid many expensive crashes in real world. reset and carry on , became much better on planes and learned helicopters from scratch on this simulator

Good simulator to get used to RC plane controls and wind variation. Not a perfect sim, but nothing really is. Can be expensive but it goes to developers that keep improving the game simulation and adding content. Like that I can use my transmitter that I actually use on my planes, helps with making adjustments without having to look at the transmitter.

Helps a lot to practice on the sim to reduce the odds of a mishap happening when flying the real thing. I spent a lot of time practicing flying helicopters and it's been very helpful. Flying the real thing is harder, but stick time on the sim gives me the muscle memory. My suggestion for the next update is for them to implement the physics of tail draggers, Flying the real thing while fighting the counter torque can be tricky, but the sim doesn't have this at all.

If you are going to fly any r/c plane and do not want to just throw money away. Then spend some time with this first. You can crash 1000 times and you wont have to glue a thing. You can fly for 4 hours and never have to charge a battery. You can get some active wind experience among many other things you can focus and work on. Want more confidence? This is a good start! Would not want to fly without it. Period!

The game has really good physics. I use it to train 3d flying with my Quest 3 headset using Virtual Desktop. Works like a charm.
