Worked in the video store in the early 2000s. This game is more or less the experience. Absolutely love the retro vibe and the calendar/holiday events are really cool. I think this game has a lot of fun little things and touches the devs added that really set it aside from your normal simulator games. Ah, the smell of cheap plastic and popcorn...

This is easily the best simulator game I’ve played. I’d been looking forward to it for a while, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. The calendar system with its rotating events and new releases adds a lot of depth and keeps things feeling fresh. Being able to serve slushies, popcorn, snacks, and candy floss is a great touch, and the design and decoration options are brilliant, they really let you personalise everything and make it feel like your own space. Handing out flyers to bring in more customers is simple and satisfying, and it all flows really well together. I was genuinely hooked for hours, and I can already tell I’ll be putting plenty more time into it. The variety of videos available keeps things interesting, and the addition of big cardboard cut-outs for new releases gives the game loads of personality. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into making everything feel engaging and fun. I’m really excited to see what the developers add in the future, but even as it is now, it’s a fantastic experience. It’s miles better than its competitor “Rewind 99” and completely outclasses it in every way. I’d 100% recommend this game, I honestly can’t praise it enough.

So far, so fun! Pretty customizable game with lots of stuff to unlock. I basically made my own red-themed Blockbuster competitor. Alright, there's one bug so far: The frames will drop if you try to change your video settings while playing the game and it doesn't matter what settings you change to. Change the settings in the main menu first, then play the game. Hope the developer sees this and patches the issue.

Fun little game and scratches a similar itch to Schedule I but with less (but not zero) criminality. Suggestion: When the store opens the back office areas should be almost bare because you've just moved in then as you level up knick knacks and decorations start appearing giving it a homelier apperance.

Runs extremely well on the deck. Writing is small but probably because it’s on the deck. Graphics are awesome. I named my store Patty’s videos aster my cat Patty
