I have been playing the base Rise of Nations game and most or all of the DLCs for it since they released way back from 2003 onward, and I have to say it is one of my favourite games I have ever played!! Sooooo many hours put into it; the nations, the maps, the combats styles and unit variations, the timeline advances and technology improvements, the campaigns, the infinite strategies one can devise while playing.... there's no end to the entertaining possibilities! Well done to the developers and programmers and everyone who put this game together, thank you all so much!!!

I've been playing this game since it was originally released. Can't recall the year but I was definitely in elementary school and now I'm a husband and father. Well balanced RTS with a lot of different mechanics that keep it interesting.

RISK is joke compared to this game but this is getting to old for modern gaming as well, i would deff wanna see better or new version of this game. Absulut Strategy fest Deff try it out, and see proper strategy game from old times.

I'd love for RON to get a DE version like AOE2. One of the last great RTSes and I played the heck out of it back in the day. The single player campaigns are a blast and the online while very competitive was a lot of fun. Basically the game is a mix of civ (going through the ages) +aoe RTS type combat without the micromanagement of your economy. It definitely has its niche carved out and ready to take back with a proper modern remaster/remake.
