I absolutely love playing this co-op with my daughter (8). It’s become some of our favorite bonding time, and she thinks it’s hilarious that our boyfriends got kidnapped and WE have to go rescue THEM. Obviously. She says, girls go to college to get more knowledge, and boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider, HA! And then we go across River City beating the crap out of everybody until we get our boyfriends back. 10/10 mother-daughter bonding experience. This is such a fun game-buy it! Play it!
Not a big fan of beat 'em up games but I really enjoyed River City Girls. Can be a bit hard at the start but with time and lvling stats eating food the game is piece of cake and kind of short too so it won't bore you. Achievements might be a bit tedious to do especially money grinding to unlock characters abilities to get "100% achievement"
incredibly fun beat them up game !! the art style was gorgeous, the soundtrack sounded amazing and it was fun learning all of the different combos. hibari was an absolute pain in the ass to beat. me and my friend completely breezed through defeating all of the other bosses on our first or second try but hibari had us stuck there for a good few tries.
Game feels pretty responsive, so I dunno what people are on about. Voice acting is sub par, combat can get repetitive so I'm looking forward to the next game because it looks to be like a great improvement. It really is charming, with the stupid story, silly dialogue. You can find a good amount of fun with this
