Don't be fooled by the few hours here on steam. I bought this game when it came out, on CD. I played it until I was exhausted! This game will allow you to manage an amusement park in all its possibilities: Build attractions, hire staff, collect money and make the visitors happy! The game features various scenarios with increasing difficulty and with different attractions that can be purchased. You can also customize the designs of some attractions and, yes, you can also crash the roller coasters ^^! The price for this version (deluxe, which includes all the expansions) is RIDICULOUS. If you are a fan of management games but especially if you have played it in the past......YOU MUST BUY IT!

Nothing like these classic Tycoon games. So fun! I just with they would come out with the classic Zoo Tycoon. That one was my favorite!

Used to play this on Windows 98 all the time and now after 25 years...I've finally beat the game. For me this game still holds up, I personally even prefer it over RCT2 or 3. Unbelievable this was made nearly entirely by just one person and written in asssembly. Totally worth a buy. Chris Sawyer is a legend.

My eyes are wet while writing this because RCT was one of the first games I've ever played along with the sims and theme hospital. I was only 4 when my parents bought our very first computer. I was obssessed over this game and 23 years later, I'm still having a blast while playing it!! Playing childhood games brings me so many good memories. My mom would sit next to me and watch me play. RIP mom, RIP child me
