This feels like the Ravenfield of RTS games. What I mean by that is chances are you'll be playing with mods most of the time and customize your experience. It's also simple RTS game with only one type of resources you need although there are mods with two or three more types. Also the game is very cheap too for a bit of budget gaming.
i pirated this game on mobile to try it out, bought it on steam just because i loved it, steam version had even more content so i stuck to it and now its one of my favorite games i have. its very fun to fight it out with other bots over land and resources. you have land, air and sea units, some of which can adapt to different environments, you have factories with upgrades for better, more unique units, the base which can only develop scouts and builders but os the only natural source of money you have until its destroyed (you can still win after your base gets destroyed, you just need to destroy every enemy factory). you have extractors which make money but can only be put in specific places or fabricators that make money very slowly but can be placed anywhere. you have turrets for land and air, all with 3 upgrades each (artillery and SAM are the best though). And lastly you have the fog system. based on what you pick, you can have 0 fog so you always see what the enemies are doing, you have basic fog so once you discover a spot youll always see whats happening there or LOS (Line Of Sight) which means any place you discover will only look the way it was when you discovered it, which is why youll often need watchtowers which can only be built by some special units. overall its a very good game with a nice modding comunity, i honestly wish it was more popular because there arent that many multiplayer servers active, but even without a discount, the game is cheap and surprisingly fun for what it looks like for the first time, just learn the controls on your own in first game and youll start to feel the joy of facing stronger AI and winning nonetheless. for the price of a kebab, i reccomend it
A simple game on the surface, but one that rewards creativity. The base game is solid, yet the true strength lies in its modding community. Mods transform the experience from a standard RTS into something far larger, offering new mechanics, factions, and strategies. Flexibility and player freedom make it easy to return to. An excellent example of how community content can extend a game's lifespan.
Good old school large scale RTS with exceptional mods. Want Gundam? It's there. Battletech? It's there. GATE? That series with the JSDF BTFOing the magic Romans, yeah it's there. The best Muv-Luv experience outside of the VNs? You're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right! For five whole dollars? So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worth it.
