A really short but fun and very gory puzzle game. I really liked the whole concept of the hotel and the strange atmosphere it creates throughout the game. The puzzles were pretty fun and usually not too difficult, although there were a few that took me a bit longer to figure out. I also really liked how dark and disturbing the game can get, especially with what happens to the guests. It has this weird mix of being cozy and unsettling at the same time, which fits the game really well.
This Hotel was built upon a Rusty Lake, perhaps we could use these Cubes to Escape.... Rusty Lake Hotel takes place in the Cube Escape universe, it takes place after Cube Escape: The Mill and before Cube Escape: Birthday, it took me about 4 hours to beat the whole game Some of the puzzles are unfun and seem to just be random so I had to use a walkthrough for some bits but overall a very good game with nice music too
The story is about a strange hotel where you prepare animal guests for dinner by solving puzzles. At first it feels simple, like just helping each guest in their own room, but slowly it starts to feel a little off in a way that is hard to explain. Each animal has their own personality and small secrets, and while exploring their rooms, I felt like I was slowly uncovering something I was not fully supposed to see. The game does not explain things directly, so I kept thinking and guessing. As I kept playing, I started to feel like everything was connected in a hidden way. I highly recommend this game if you enjoy quiet and mysterious stories.
Great escape game! I really loved the morbid atmosphere and the dark vibes. The puzzles are fun, but a bit easy, and the voice acting adds a lot to the creepy story and lore, which I really enjoyed digging into. Each room has its own unique puzzles. My only complaint is that you can’t restart a single room. If you miss an achievement or run into a bug (which happened to me a few times), you have to replay the whole game (but from what I've read that’s a rare case!) Still, I’m really excited to play the rest of the series !
